CHAPTER 18

TIME SKIP: THREE MONTHS

ON THE DAY OF THE GET-TOGETHER

SEASON: SPRING (In Wales spring starts from March and lasts till May)

MINSEOK'S POV:

The day has come. We meet our cousins from other kingdoms. Sereia's parents arrived yesterday. The weather is peaceful. Not too hot, not too cold. Best for a get-together. I see Sereia taking care of Tan (A/N: Minseok's pet, a Norwegian Wood cat). Guess she loves cats hmm. I go and sit on the chair on our balcony beside her. I caress Tan along with her. "Morning baby". "Morning Min". Tan is sleeping peacefully on her lap as she was sick a few days ago. She is still a child so she does need care and love. Seri loves tan loads. She couldn't' t sleep at nights because Tan wasn't keeping well. I'm blessed to have her as my wife. She'll be a great mother. *You're my everything* "How's she". "She's a lot better Min, but I'm still a bit worried about her health, after all, she's still a kid".

I sense the worry in her voice. "Don't worry Tan will get better soon". "I hope so too". As she takes care of Tan so well, I should do the same in return. "Baby, want some coffee". She smiles "Would love to, umm keep Tan with you and I'll be right back". She's about to get up when I hold her wrist which makes her look at me and I make her sit. "Take care of her, I'll prepare the coffee today". "But- ." "No buts and ifs . Keep caressing Tan and I'll make coffee for both of us". "Thanks, Min". I smile and kiss her forehead and as a reflex, her eyes close and a smile etches on her beautiful face. I get up and go to our room to make some coffee for both of us. After 10 mins or so, I go out to the balcony with two mugs of coffee.

Giving her one mug, I sit on my chair. She takes a sip and sighs contently. "How's the coffee". "It's perfect". I smile and so does she. "How are the new members of our family". Oh... I forgot to tell that everyone has pets now. Jongin with two dogs: Jjangu and Monggu (poodles). The same goes with Soo: Meokmul and Huchu (poodles). Baekhyun: Mongryong (Pembroke Welsh Corgi), Chanyeol: Toben and Jjareu. Sehun: Vivi and Monsieur (Bichon frise). Lay: Lulu and Luobo (Cats). "I feel they are good". We hear barks and turn around to see Toben running around like a mini-tornado and Chan trying to calm him down. Our cats are not scared of the dogs which is a good thing. Sereia and I laugh softly Chan trying to take Toben back to his room. "Seems that Chan is trying too hard to make toben calm down". "True that". We laugh.

The pets we got are exactly like us. Vivi being calm and also a mood like sehun, moekmul is super calm and huchu being Lively. Monggu always likes to be petted. Cute I say. "Btw how are mom and dad Babe". "They are all good, just a bit tired from travelling". I nod understandingly. "When does the get-together start ". "In 4-5 hours". "Hmm, should we go down and check if our fam needs help". I smile "Yeah sure". We place Tan on her bed carefully and go down to help them.

After going down Naomi and Seren are in the kitchen helping the cooks in preparing the food. Along with them, we see Soo and Baekhyun helping their wives. I whisper in her ear. "Guess, they are coming close". She smiles "It's a good thing after 8-9 months are we seeing some difference in these couples. Though Baekhyun and Naomi are quite close it feels good seeing Soo showing his caring and warm side to Seren". I nod my head in agreement. "You are right babe, by the way, let's go. I don't think we should disturb them". We both chuckle and help others with their works. After helping them, we get ready for the get-together.

NAOMI'S POV:

We wind up the work in the kitchen and go to our rooms to freshen up. "Naomi, I'm going to freshen up". "Alright, go ahead". I go to our wardrobe and stand in Infront of it. "Umm... what do I wear today". My breath hitches when water droplets fall on my shoulder. "Anything you wear looks perfect on you Naomi". Feeling a warm breath on my neck contrasting to the coldness of the straps of the nightdress, makes me grip the nightdress tight. "Ba-Baekhyun". He responds in his deep voice which makes me breathless. "Yes". "W-when did you come out". "Just two minutes ago". "O-oh o-okay". Why am I stuttering?"Are you done selecting your outfit, so that I can choose mine?".  "O-oh yeah, you can choose your outfit, I'll wait".
