CHAPTER 14

Note: Though the boys are princes, they still work as it was their dream to be independent. So, are the princesses.

KYUNGSOO'S POV:

Driving to the workplace, my mind goes back to the time seren was severely injured. Her back took months to recover. Yet she is so stubborn that she slept on the couch. I clutch the steering wheel in anger. Only if I knew who he was, I would have shown where he belonged. A notification breaks me from this thought. I reach out for my phone and check. It's a message from seren.

[ CHAT BUBBLE]:

Seren: Did you have breakfast before leaving.

This girl still thinks about me when she is supposed to think about her back. She is really sweet and I feel lucky to have her by my side. I reply

Me: Umm... no but don't worry, will grab a bite. A smile appears on my face.

Seren: Be careful of what you eat alright?

Me: Alright, Will talk to you later, See you. Have your breakfast and take your meds before you leave for work.

Also, the weather is really pleasant so you can your comfy clothes. Will pick you up from work once I'm done for the day. All the best.

I remind her that because she sometimes forgets to have her breakfast.

Seren: Thanks but you don't have to pick me up. I'll come home in my car.

I chuckle. She just started learning how to drive a car and already wants to drive it on road. She's a pretty fast learner though. I acknowledge that.

Me: Shhh... do as I say. However, your office is close to my set... so go with siofra and I'll pick you up at night.

Seren: Hmm alright.... :)

Me: Good, now get ready and take care.

Seren: okayyyyy.....you too take care.

Me: :))))))))

I smile and start driving to reach my workplace while not forgetting to grab a bite. I could have lied about the breakfast thing but I don't know why can't I lie to seren. I go in and greet the others who were working with me on this drama. All of the actors present in the room start introducing themselves and the roles. Discussions and script reading is done and we are almost towards the end of the filming.

The filming started 4-5 months ago. Acting is tiring but it's something I enjoy. It's lunchtime and we all go to a restaurant to have lunch. While eating, I remember we have a family get together coming in 3 months. Sehun has days off so he will be spending time with Zyanya taking her to the beachside for 2 days 1 night. Yixing as usual with his music composition and songwriting. Chanyeol with interior designing and composing music.

Sereia as chef and Siofra as a teacher. Jongin with his shoots and Aryana as a director in a fashion company. Baekhyun and Naomi are in prive alliance. Rhian as a perfumer. Minseok also is an actor. Most of us are actors. Zyanya and Seren as interior designers. Thinking of Seren, did she eat or is working continuously. *You come to mind no matter where I go*. Though all of us are busy with our lives, we don't fight which is the best part. After having our lunch which was filled with jokes and a bit of discussion about the upcoming project, we get back to the set of the drama.

BAEKHYUN'S POV:

Working as the Co-creative director for an alliance that is in the fashion world does have a lot of work. I complete the review of the designs. Next up is the meeting on how to advertise the same. As I go through the proposals for advertising, marketing and also designs, I get a message from a colleague that the timing of the meeting has been changed from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. As it's a three-hour meeting, it will end at 7:00 pm. I slump my shoulder and get back to reviewing. Never knew how time passed in a jiffy and it's already noon. I call the designing department to talk about the designs. After telling them a few perks and corrections about the same, I tell them to check them out and give me a final draft of the same.

Being a Co-creative director, I'll have to design a few clothing styles too so I sit and design them. You must be wondering why do we work when we are from a well-off family. That's true that we are well-off but that doesn't mean we will sit on the hard-earned money of our fathers and forefathers. Our grandfather always told us to be independent. Cuz that's what brings respect and most importantly modesty. And he was right. Though things are hard at times, being independent is the best.

I'm stuck with the ideas of colours when I see Naomi diligently drawing in her cabin. I feel glad that she works in the same alliance as me. Frankly speaking, I was shocked when I found that she works in the same place as me. I call her.

[ CALL]:

Me:  Hey Naomi, I need your help.

Naomi: Hey Baekhyun, oh, what's it?

Me: Can you come to my cabin it will be good if you see and help me with it.

Naomi: Oh alright, I'll be there in a few.

Me: Alright, I'm waiting.

Naomi: Hmm, see you.

Me: See you

[ END OF THE CALL]

I cut the call and wait for her. I hear a knock." Yes, come in". Naomi comes in. "Thanks, what can I do for you". She pulls off anything she wears. Space blue suit with a baby blue button-up shirt paired with navy blue pumps. Hair tied up in a ponytail and minimal makeup. Her presence screams professionalism. "Uhm, Baekhyun, is everything okay?".

I come out of the trance and clear my throat. "Y-yeah, I needed help with the colours". "Ooh okay, let me see". She gets up and comes to my table to see the design. I pull a chair for her to sit down on it. She smiles. "Thanks, Baek". Looking at the designs she analyses which colour would be good. After analyzing she suggests a colour that even I thought is perfect. "Naomi, did you eat your breakfast".

"Umm, I grabbed a bite of toasted bread and butter". "Ooh wait what, a bite of toasted bread and butter, that's it?". "Yeah". I look at the time and it's luckily 1:00 pm. I get up from my seat and hold her hand. "What's wrong Baek". "It's lunchtime so let's get you to eat something". "But the designs you needed help in". "Can wait, so let's go". I take her out and have lunch.
