WALES; 10:00 AM

SEASON: WINTER

JUNMEYON 'S POV:

Today is indeed one of the most awaited days as the grand ball is starting. The whole palace is busy working with me and Charlotte guiding them. With some things being a bit messed up, I was almost on the verge of bursting out but thank goodness Elis calms me down. "Oh my god Junmyeon, calm down brother-in-law."

I look at him "what do you mean calm down Elis, it's messed up." "It's not that messed up either. Just the flowers are hidden because they haven't blossomed yet". "Exactly, my grumpy brother, I agree with him". Cary came in saying that. She carefully looks at the flowers "When are the princesses arriving". Elis answers "Tomorrow At 11:00 AM, love".

Cary face palms and asks "Charlotte, how do you handle my grumpy brother". Charlotte giggles softly "He is grumpy only when it comes to work not done perfectly". She slightly rolls her eyes. "All the other times, he is a kid". This statement makes Cary, Charlotte and Elis burst into laughter. I lean towards her ear and softly whisper enough for Elis and Cary to hear.

"Oh really, I'm shocked that you had four sons with this kid hmm, not that I'm complaining". Elis and Cary stop laughing mid-way and looks at Charlotte. She nudges my stomach and I slowly back off to see Charlotte's reaction and to my merry, she is still the same, with slightly pink cheeks when she blushes while looking down. She always makes me fall in love with her. Elis and Cary chuckle seeing how flustered Charlotte is.

Elis clears his throat "Ahem- What was that Junmyeon, how can you make my little sister blush so hard, that too while working huh?". Charlotte adds "Exactly, you can't do this when we are preparing for the grand ball". She looks at me. "OH, I forgot about the flowers, they will bloom in a few hours, so don't worry my grumpy brother kid".

Cary's statement made everyone burst into laughter including me. Having a family like this is surely a blessing. *I hope what I am thinking comes true* I smile at my thought.

BAEKHYUN'S POV:

We hear laughs from the ballroom and surely it was from our parents. Soo, Sehun, Yixing, and I take uncle Elis and aunt Cary as our parents too cuz why not? They never treated us less than their sons.

Me, Chanyeol and lay were in the music room playing our piano as we loved playing them. Chanyeol suddenly asks "Should we go check on our brothers, it's been long since we last saw them. Yixing laughs sarcastically "Ha... Sure, we were with them 2 hours before, I mean 2 hours is a long time".

This statement made me giggle softly at the priceless reaction given by chanyeol. "So what if we met them a few--- I interrupt him saying "okay okay, let's go meet them alright, seriously you both". They both smile and we get out of the music room.

While we walk, my eyes look at a certain someone sitting all by himself and it's none other than Soo. My steps halt leaving the other two walking all by themselves. When they realize I'm not walking along with them, Yixing halts and asks "Baek, why did you stop walking, you okay?" I nod saying "Guys, I want to roam in the garden for some time, you guys go ahead and meet them".

Chanyeol looks at me sceptically "Are you sure that nothing's bothering you since it's so not like you?". I give them a reassuring smile "Oh god, it's been days since I went outside, that's why I want to give the garden a visit". Before they interrupt me, I push them to meet our brothers.

I then move to go to the garden "I guess coming outside isn't that bad Afterall". I slowly go to Soo and sit beside him. "Water looks pretty clear today, right?". Soo turns towards me "When did you come Baek?".

I reply "Just a few mins back". He hmms in response. "Soo is something bothering you". "No" and he sighs. I scoot closer to him and say "Thanks for telling me that nothing is bothering you, but now tell, I'm sure something is going on your mind". He sighs. "Still thinking about her right?".

Huhu, how have you guys been doing? Did you guys eat and rest well? No matter what never skip meals alright? Stay hydrated and exercise regularly. Here we go with chapter 1.
