CHAPTER 45

TO THE RETURN DAY:

MINSEOK'S POV:

The vacation has finally come to an end. I sit on the couch inside the cruise as I'm a bit seasick so is Chanyeol. We both sit and sip on our coffees. "Minseok, are you thinking about what happened yesterday". I come out of my thinking sphere. "Uh, yeah". "Hmm". Yesterday was a really weird day. We, boys, went out on a boys night and had fun. But something caught our eye or to rephrase, someone caught our eyes. And the woman seemed like someone whom we knew. She resembled Nova. Including her behaviour. She might be Nova or someone who looks. We brushed it off and were walking but suddenly Baekhyun and Sehun found something was off when the guy sitting with her came to us after leaving her in the room as she was carrying a little angel in her arms. "Go evening, I'm Ralph".

 He gives a firm handshake to all of us and smiles warmly. We reciprocate the same. "If you're wondering how I know you all, I assume my wife is your sister, right?". Our eyes go wide hearing that. "Umm yeah, but how do you know that?". I asked. "I saw a photo frame of your childhood pic, in which you all were jumping on the beach. She said that those men in the picture are her brothers, with whom she had bad blood". We all looked at each other. "But what made you sure that the guys in the picture are us?" Kyungsoo questioned. "Why don't we sit and talk?" Baekhyun said. He smiled softly. "Sure". We head to the garden where chairs were laid out for customers to sit. "When I and my wife were having our dinner, she saw you all talking to each other and her eyes welled up with tears as she saw you all. Her eyes widened after seeing you all. Vague must it be right?". I nodded. 

"I know it's hard to believe what I told a few minutes ago, but it's the truth". We looked at him with doubt. But his face showed genuineness. "How did you meet Nova?". Jongin asked. "We met when were in our higher education, while she was pursuing her interior designing and I was studying MBA. We were neighbours but we didn't talk to each other. She was in her world with her best friend, while I was in mine. One day, we had to keep my puppy in her home thus, that's when we started talking to each other. At first, I thought she's just a normal girl, but she turned out to be a princess". He said and laughed softly. "As cliché, it must sound, that's what happened. After a few years of being in a relationship, we realized that we want to be with each other for the rest of our lives as husband and wife, and then we got married. Two years later, an angel was showered on us and her name is Emily". 

 That explained the little angel in her arms was. "In those few years of relationship, she told me everything about her real identity, including the bad blood she had with her family aka you all". We looked down, sighing. "She also used to say, that there wasn't a day where her family hadn't crossed her mind. That it was wrong of her not listening to the words of her elders completely and estranging the relationship she cherished the most". He then unlocked his phone and showed us the picture of him and nova getting married. We weren't mad at her for doing so, but a relief, as well as sadness, spread out inside us. Ralph smiled softly. "Don't worry, one day or the other, I'm sure we all will be a family like you all used to be". He assured and gave his number to all of us. We all exchanged numbers. Before leaving he turned around, smiling. "I'm not a scammer, so no worries. Nova is my Wife and I'm her husband. I promise to take care of her as she deserves. I'll surely update you on how nova and Emily are doing. You can trust me". He said, firmly and at the same time softly. We nodded and then went on our ways. 

"Min?". Sereia calls. Was I phased out? "Yeah Sere". She sits beside me and intertwines our fingers. "Is something bothering you?". She looks at me. I nod sighing while looking out. Caressing our intertwined fingers with another hand, she smiles warmly. I smile smally. "I'm here if you want to share it alright?". "Hmm". I look at her and kiss her forehead. She smiles. "I'll tell you as soon as possible alright? My mind is all over the place. So are my feelings". She nods softly. "Take your time. If you need anyone to hear you out just in case you feel like removing all of it, my ears are yours hmm?". I nod and smile. She does the same. Placing her head on my shoulder, one of my arms snakes around her waist, pulling her close. "I'll drive". Sereia says. "Are you sure?". She nods. "Alright". I say and kiss her forehead.
