CHAPTER 24

ELENA'S POV:

I walk around the mansion as it's for the first time. Remembering the moments, I and Soo shared brings a smile to my face. Not going to lie those were some really good moments. Right from catch-me-if you can to snuggling close with coffee and blankets during winter and rainy seasons. While remembering those, I see Seren setting the table along with Soo. Going towards them and thinking of how to have some fun with Seren, an idea strikes my mind. "Oh, hey Seren". She looks at me and smiles. "Hey Elena, enjoying the party?". "Soo danced with me so yeah, I'll Ofcourse enjoy the party".

Soo looks at me and his expression clearly shows dislike. Thinking that she'll react so that I can seize the opportunity, all my expectations go down the drain when she responds "I'm glad you're". "Glad?". "Yeah". Damn her calmness. "Guess you don't know who  am I?". Soo and Seren both stay calm. "Well, you're Hadrian's wife. Elena". I roll my eyes and chuckle "Yeah, and also your husband's ex.". She nods her head understandingly. "I see. I'm his wife". Was that a comeback I'm not sure?

"Well, you seem unfazed by the revelation". A chuckle leaves her mouth. Did she just agree to that? "Well, I am". "Did Soo not tell you about me and him". "Stay within your limits, Elena". Soo warns. Seren holds his hand and smiles at him. Looking at me she says "He did". "He was quite romantic you know". "Hmm nice. He still is though". Soo's almost on the verge of cracking up but controls himself. "By the way want something to drink". "Huh". "I mean your throat must have hurt talking that much so yeah". "O-oh that's fine. I have juice". "Sure?". "Yeah". "That's great" she chirps. Her calmness irks me.

"Don't you feel jealous that I'm his ex?". She hmms as If she's thinking about something. "To be frank, I'm jealous but I also know there's a reason why you're his ex". I choke on the juice I'm sipping and Soo chuckles. "Oh my, you good?". She rubs my back so that the choking feeling goes. "Thanks, Seren". She smiles relieved. "You're welcome, Elena, take care and try not to choke". How could I not? "Yeah. I'll try". "Good". "Kiara ". She calls a maid. The maid comes and says "Yes, your highness". "Dear can you please go call everyone for dinner?". "Sure, your highness". A genuine smile spreads over Seren's face which makes me feel a bit guilty. "Thanks, darling".

The maid excuses herself and goes to call everyone. "As you're already here, please sit and make yourself comfortable". A small smile appears on my face. "Yeah, sure". Soo clears his throat. Seren looks at him. "Elena, I hope from now you'll be within your limits". Seren goes from here to the kitchen as there was some problem. Soo stays in the dining hall. His eyes glint with adoration, love, care, and trust in her, making me smile. *Only if he looked at me like the way Soo looks at Seren*. "Soo". "It's Kyungsoo for you". Ouch.

Time to execute the plan. "Kyungsoo". "Yes, that's me". This boy. "Do you know Seren and Hadrian had a past right?". He stops doing the work and looks at me while leaning on the table. "What do you think". "Well, No". He dryly chuckles. "Tch, tch sad. As always you're wrong". What, did Seren already tell her past with Hadrian? Dang. "Huh". He smirks "You thought that Seren and I don't share anything with each other hmm". " You didn't like her in the starting days of your marriage, right?". "That's noyb". "Noyb?".

"None of your business. But as you asked. I shall provide you with the answer. I do know her past with Hadrian and she knows my past with you. No wonders why she was unfazed by your revelation". I stay silent. "Kyungsoo... don't you like me anymore". He rolls his eyes. "Nope I don't. Anyways sit as we'll be starting our dinner soon". Saying that he goes from there. I sigh. There's no way I can get him back. I don't know how would he react hearing this. Unknowingly, my hand caresses my womb.

MINSEOK'S POV:

We are on our way to our room. Entering, Sereia plops herself on the bed. "Today has been a heck of a day ufff". "I couldn't agree more baby". I feel a bit sticky so I say "I'll go freshen up alright". "Alright". Taking my piped night pyjama set, I go to the washroom and freshen up. Changing into my night pyjama set, I go out wiping my hair and see Sereia removing side clips from her hair. She looked really beautiful in the night blue sweetheart gown with her hair side swept. Admiring her beauty and going to her, I hug her from behind and nuzzle my face in her neck. She tilts her head a bit to the side so that I can comfortably rest my face.
