She woke up in a hospital room cuffed to the side arm handles. With a small smirk she tugged lightly before yanking her arm free entirely from the cuff. She sat up with her hand along her stomach with a smile. "Don't you worry. I'm sure your father will find us at some point soon. He'll kill everyone if I haven't yet."

A soldier inside the room stiffened up with wide eyes watching Eden. He took a step towards Eden but stopped once she looked up to him. Fear riddled every cell in his body. Even sweat started to trickle down the back of his neck and his temples.

The vitals on the machines made calming beeps. She watched both sets of vitals and smiled feeling her stomach, tears threatening to make their way out of her eyes. Their child was alright. Eden looked to the soldier curiously taking control as she looked over his entire being, which made the man extremely uncomfortable. He shifted in his spot fiddling with the hem of his coat.

Eden brought her hand to her face with a clean napkin seconds before her nose started to bleed, this time she felt a small trickle from her eye. "Is your father proud of you yet?"

"P-pardon?"

A small snicker escaped her lips as she stood up while removing the machine's tubing precisely then wrapping up anything that could start bleeding with impeccable trained medical movements. She turned the machines off with a small flick of her wrist showcasing her abilities unintentionally. The man shifted again, unsure what to do. "It's been a week that I slept? Geez thirty-five weeks about... Anyways. Your father is high in the military food chain. Is he not proud of you yet?"

"H-how did you...?" There was a pause as Eden stretched and moved to the window with wobbly legs which caused the man to move closer to her carefully, only to catch her and not to aggravate her. "You probably shouldn't be walking just yet, ma'am."

"You're kinda cute for a human. Too bad you're not a vampire. You'd make a nice snack. Speaking of a snack, when can I get something to eat? Oh and Mr. Andrews? Do be a dear and make sure you show your father your passion for music. If he loves you, he won't be as upset as you think."

The man looked up to the vampire with pure terror evident in his eyes. He's never given the woman any information about him, yet it was as if she knew him better than he knew himself. Part of his body begged to leave the room and escape the killer vampire at once. But his mind was still obeying orders from above, thus he couldn't leave. Andrews nodded slowly but looked down to his shoes trying to focus enough on his shaking knees so he didn't look so weak.

Before he knew it, Eden was up into his face. With ease and the point of her nail, she lifted his chin up, taking her time to inspect the man more. "You're scared of me... Yet you don't want to harm me. You despise fighting?"

"It's barbaric. Only good people get hurt." Andrews' fists clenched tightly that his knuckles turned white before he relaxed his hands at his sides.

"Ah. What was her name?"

The man shuffled uncomfortably again but still managed to answer, "Bethany. I, uhm, just bought her a ring that I've saved up for years. She was a nurse helping some people after the last attack... They blew up the hospital, killing everyone inside."

"That's the song you need to play for your father."

"Hm?"

"Finish the song you started about your love with Bethany and make your father listen it."
