Chapter 31

Jo's pov

I was so pissed off after I had seen Luke push Hero down that slide. I could hear the fear in Hero's scream as he came hurdling down the water slide making my heart pound in my chest as I prayed for him to be okay. Luckily he was fine. I wanted to file a complaint but then my friends wouldn't get into the park for free and Hero didn't want me too either. Saying he wasn't going to give that wanker the satisfaction of knowing he got to him and that he would handle it in his own way. What ever that means I just hope he doesn't get into any trouble for it.

"You ready love" Hero asks me pulling me from my thoughts as I tie my hair up into a bun, putting the red Mario hat on over my head. "Ready to win this" I say smiling as I give him a kiss his Wario mustache tickling me as he smirks down at me. "I can't believe you talked me into this" he says chuckling as he looks down at the golden suit. He still looks sexy as hell as he smiles down at me his dimples popping out. I smile back at me as I add on my own mustache above my upper lip. "It was Lee and Elle's idea and besides you went down a 30ft drop for me, when your terrified of heights" I say smiling over to him. "What? I'm not" he starts to stutter until I cut him off putting my finger to his lip as I shush him. "Hero I've known you my entire life there isn't much I don't know about you" I say smirking up at him. "Yet you still made me do it" he says teasingly grabbing me by the waist and tickling me. "There isn't much you can't do your Hero Fiennes Tiffin" I say giggling as I give him a brief kiss lingering a little longer at the end as our lips come apart.

"I love you" he says his greenish-blue eyes staring into mines. "I love you Hero" I say smiling up at him as he takes my hand in his. We head down the stairs and meet Mercy and Felix who are dressed as Luigi and Yoshi. "You look great Jo" Mercy says hugging me as I smile at her. "So do you let's win this thing" I tell her smiling as she nods in agreement. All that matters is that me or Mercy cross the finish line. That's the plan anyway. We already set it up with all the players so we shouldn't have anything to worry about. We are going to get this one checked off our bucket list. The costumes and props Lee and Elle came up with is just an added bonus of fun.

We all drive together in Hero's car to the race track. "It's fucking hot in this thing" Felix groans from the back seat. "Well you could of been Princess Toadstool and had a nice breeze" Hero chuckles as me and Mercy giggle. "Yeah I think Lee would of cried if I did that" he says laughing back.

We chatted through out the ride and we are finally here. I can't wait to do this. Felix is right it's freaking hot as hell today and these costumes aren't helping any. "There they are come on we're next" Elle says excitedly in a mushroom costume. Lee flips his blonde wig back making Rachel laugh as we all head into the arena. "You ready to win love" Hero says smiling at me as I nod my head excitedly. We all get into our go karts when suddenly I see another Wario coming over and sitting in the 7th car. Realizing it's Luke I look over at Hero whose in the Kart beside me as he yells out "what the fuck you playing at man?" "Just proving who the real Wario is mate" Luke says sarcastically dragging out the last word. "Oh he's fucking done" Hero says gritting his teeth. "Hey let's just have fun okay" I say hopeful as I smile over at him. "He's not winning this race" he says determinedly his eyes blazing with fire. "Fuck no he's not" I say making him smile. "Your crazy man this shit needs to stop" I hear Lee tell Luke as I turn around he just shrugs his shoulders as he smirks over to me as I roll my eyes at him turning around to get ready to win this thing.

"We won't let him past you girls yeah" Hero says as Felix nods in agreement. "Good because if you do no sex for a week" Mercy says making me giggle as Hero groans either from grossness because it was his sister who said it or because he can't go a day, let alone a week without being inside of me. Probably a combination of the two making me laugh as he looks over at me smiling beside me as Felix looks more determined than ever with his knuckles tightening on the wheel.
