Chapter 3

Jo's pov

It's the day of our first concert I've been keeping busy the last few days with band practice. Felix tried telling Mercy it was all a big misunderstanding and that Chloe had a girlfriend named Clay and that they all bonded over how miserable they were without us. Then why did Hero keep her a damn secret for two weeks? Why was he naked in front her? It says no labels on her instagram so I'm assuming she's also into men and I'm not entirely sure Clay is even a woman. I mean who names a girl Clay? I still haven't unblocked Hero too pissed that he decided it was ok to totally disregard me as soon as she walked in the room and just slammed his laptop shut. Mercy and Felix are also arguing as she is obviously taking my side in things as he is sticking up for Hero. Trying not to focus too much on it and listening to the other bands I smile as I nod my head a long with the beat. "Felix I can't really hear you. Why is it echoing?" Mercy says answering her phone. "Hero no she doesn't want to talk to you" Mercy yells as I look over at her nervously. "I'll tell her ok goodbye" she says frantically hanging up. "He just wanted to tell you good luck and said you looked beautiful" she says shrugging. "How does he know what I look like?" I say shaking my head. "I don't know he always says your beautiful even when your not" she says giggling at me. "You ready to rock gorgeous?" Luke says putting his arm around me. I roll my eyes and shake his arm off of me. Ever since he found out about Hero and me taking a break he's been overly flirtatious. "Dude chill" Sam says glaring at him. "Come on just trying to get her pumped look at the crowd Jo soon they will all be screaming And All Was Silent" he says excitedly nudging me making me smile at him. "Ready to go JoJo" Owen says happily spinning his drumsticks. "Let's end this summer right" Jeremy says grabbing his Bass as he clips his shoulder strap on. "I'll meet you right after" I tell Mercy excitedly getting in the zone as the adrenaline starts rushing through me. We go out on to the stage and I see a lot of my classmates in the crowd as they all start clapping. "Hello Los Angeles let's get ready to party" I scream out into the mic as they all cheer our bands name. I start to sing and the guys play their instruments and I dance with Sam, Jeremy smiling at Owen as I sing and Luke joins me singing "I got a spark in me, and your a part of me, been so long and now I'm finally free yeahhh." "Finally free yeahhh" I sing as the guys take a bow and the crowd screams "And All Was Silent" over and over clapping their hands together. All of sudden I notice a pair of greenish-blue eyes staring at me smiling as he claps his hands. He's here? He came all this way to see me play in some backwoods concert. Then my heart breaks all over again as I notice the beautiful model beside him smiling at me as she claps her hands then patting him on the back. The next thing I know Luke spins his guitar around and pulls me towards him as he crashes his lips against mines I hear the crowd screaming in happiness as I push him off of me frantically searching for the man who will always have my heart as I see him storming off Chloe running behind him. I quickly run off the stage and down the stairs as I collide with Mercy and Felix. "Holy shit Jo you know Hero is going to freak right?" Felix asks me frantically. "Why he brought his new girlfriend here why should he care?" I say getting defensive. "Are you fucking kidding me Josephine?" I hear his familiar voice with a hint of his British accent scream at me. The rest of the band is taking their equipment off the stage as Hero runs up and grabs Luke punching him in the face. "Hero stop" I scream at him. "How long did he wait before he made a move on you? Or have you been something all along and that's why you haven't been answering my calls before all this shit" Hero yells at me with tears in his eyes. "Fuck you I am not the one who has been keeping secrets. I'm not the one who was naked in front of her" I scream pointing at Chloe who just looks at me sadly making me even more infuriated. "I was never fucking naked in front of her" he yells at me. "Bullshit I heard her say naked boy get dressed" I scream at him. "He was in a towel he went in his room to change" Chloe says interrupting our fight. "You can stay out of this it's between me and him" I say angrily pointing between me and Hero. "Jo don't be a bitch to her" Hero says making my blood boil. "Seriously if it wasn't for her we wouldn't be having these problems" I yell at him pushing him away. "Jo calm down let's just go" Mercy says sadly looking at her brother. "Babe no let them talk" Felix says pulling her towards him. "No I'm done" I cry out sadly. "Jo we'll see you at the next practice" Sam says nervously looking at Hero as he clenches his jaw. "Yeah I'll be there" I say as Owen nods and I look around and realize Jeremy and Luke are already gone. "Sorry lover boy already left. He's lucky I didn't smash that damn guitar over his skull" Hero says with venom in his voice. "I wasn't looking for him and what does it matter to you when you obviously have plenty of girls at Harvard" I say waving my hands dramatically. "I'm a lesbian" Chloe says timidly making me chuckle. "What are you just saying that to make his lies look better it says on your profile no labels?" I ask her curiously just revealing that I have in fact stalked her instagram. "Yeah I don't like labels but I do have a girlfriend her name is Clay and we've been together for four years. We'll probably get married after I graduate" she says smiling. I look at Hero who just looks sad as I notice the bags under his eyes his face sinking in like he hasn't ate in days. "Maybe we should let them talk alone I'm going to meet up with Clay maybe we can all do lunch tomorrow before our flight leaves" she says to Felix and Mercy. She startles me when she pulls me in for a hug and whispers "that boy loves you more than anything. He's lost without you." I give her a small smile as she pulls away grinning. "Later wanker" she tells Hero punching him on his shoulder as he gives her a small smile saying "later." I wring my hands nervously as I look up at him he sighs running his hands through his hair. "I'm sorry" we both say at the same time as we nervously smile. He comes towards me taking my hands in his as I feel my skin tingling where his skin touches mines. "I should of told you about Chloe I just wasn't thinking. She's like one of the guys" he says frantically. "Why was she in your room when you were naked though?" I ask him furrowing my eyebrows at him. "She wasn't I was in the living room when I facetimed you love. As soon as she came in I ran to get changed" he says caressing my cheek. "Then you ran back out in your boxers and practically screamed a goodbye as you slammed the screen down on me" I say irritably. "I didn't want her to spill the secret I told her" he says timidly. "So now you have secrets with her and not me" I groan out frustratedly. He ignores my statement as he asks me his jaw clenching "Why did you kiss Luke?" I can see he's holding back his rage as his eyes harden. "I didn't he kissed me you probably ran off before you could see I pushed him away" I say caressing his cheek as he sighs leaning into me. "I really want to kill him" he groans out angrily. "Then you wouldn't be able to touch me everyday if your in jail" I say smirking up at him. "I know you heard that wanker Jack say you were clingy" he says to me sadly looking down with his mesmerizing greenish-blue eyes. "Yeah I know I'm trying not to be" I say timidly looking away from his intense gaze. "No don't you dare I want you to be clingy be as clingy as koala bear. I want you to answer me everytime I call or text and not just one word texts either. I want you around me every second of every day I love you so fucking much" he says resting his forehead against mines. "I'm so sorry Hero I should of heard you out about Chloe" I cry out as I hold on to him. "Yeah love we definitely need to communicate better at least until your with me in Harvard next year" he says chuckling. "We will I love you Hero" I say leaning up and capturing my lips with his as he sighs pulling me towards him. All of a sudden he pulls away his cheeks flushed. "What's wrong?" I ask him nervously is he not attracted to me anymore. "I can't get the image of that fucking wankers lips on yours off my mind" he groans out irritably. "Hero look at me" I say pulling his head down so his eyes meet mines. "Keep your eyes open" I say as I kiss his neck making him groan I move up to his perfect lips his eyes glued to my lips as I crash my lips against him our tongues colliding as we stare into each other's eyes. "I need you" I pant out grasping his hard length through his black jeans as he groans. "I think we're the only ones here love" he says looking around at the deserted area as he scoops me up throwing me over his shoulders as he runs to his car. "Should I take you home and fuck some sense back into you?" He says smacking my ass making me yelp. "What do you mean by fuck some sense in to me?" I ask him curiously as he places me down near his ford capri. "That you would ever even think that I could look at another woman after you is absurd you obviously lost some sense and need me to fucking remind you" he says chuckling. "Oh really well in that case take me home now" I say biting my lip as he groans we both get in the car quickly as he takes off down the roads. "If Luke touches you again I swear I will kill him" Hero says his jaw clenching. "He won't I'll talk to Sam they need me more than him" I say smiling as Hero grins at me. "I trust you baby now you need to trust me yeah" he says squeezing my thigh. "Yes" I say breathless as we pull up to his house a half hour later. Both of us giddy and practically running to the door as we get inside I whisper "did anyone know you were coming home?" "No I wanted to surprise you love" he says smiling pulling me upstairs to his room. "It sucks I only get you tonight" I say sadly as I heard Chloe say their plane leaves tomorrow night. "You'll have me every night for the rest of our lives love we just need to get you to Boston" he says smiling at me. We don't waste time with foreplay after months of being apart our clothes are scattered and discarded quickly as he climbs over me thrusting into me slowly in and out as he kisses me passionately my hips grinding along with his thrusts as I grip my legs around his waist pulling him closer. The room is filled with the sounds of our skin smacking together mixed with our moans and confessions of love for each other. "Jo baby I'm gonna cum fuck" Hero pants out that's all I need to hear for my own release to come as my nails rake down his back and he climaxes inside me as my walls tremble around him. "Fuck I've missed you" he says pulling out of me as he wipes me off with a shirt. Pulling his boxers back up as I throw on one of his clean t shirts. "I've missed you so damn much" I say giving him a chaste kiss. "Promise me we won't ever go through that again love. I thought I lost you forever" he says tears welling up in his eyes. "I promise what ever we go through we will talk through it from now on" I say sincerely as he cradles me from behind inhaling my scent on my neck. I giggle looking at his neck I gasp he has tons of little red marks across his neck and down his chest as I caress my hand over them. "Don't worry love I marked you just as bad" he says chuckling as I look down my shirt seeing red marks across my breasts and down my stomach making me smile. "Your mine, you'll always be mine" he says his eyes piercing into mines. "I'm yours" I say smiling at him. "And I'm yours" he says giving me a kiss. He falls asleep as my head rests on his chest his hand caressing my back soothingly. Even sleeping his hands gravitate to touch me.  I wish I would've listened to Felix sooner all these days of heart ache and pain could of been avoided. Then there's the problem with Luke I have to fix that soon because I love being in the band and he is a really great musician and singer but I also can't have him interfering with my personal life. I sleep better than I have in months as I listen to Hero's heart beating under me the steady rhythm lulling me into a deep sleep as his scent surrounds me.
