I wanted to kill that fucking wanker when he showed up dressed as the same Mario Kart character as me and then tried to ruin my girl and sister's bucket list by trying to win the damn race himself. Luckily me and my bruv Felix put a stop to his ass. Seeing Jo and Mercy hold hands as they crossed the finish line was definitely a sight I will always remember. Even fucking Luke couldn't ruin that moment for me. He's lucky me and Felix didn't stomp his ass to the ground.
The girls have been very secretive lately and I think I have an idea of what they've been up too seeing as my mum, and Elizabeth have been around more lately and they both have been giving me this look of pure love. Not to mention the way Jo has been looking at me like she loves me even more if that's even possible at this point I don't think I've ever loved another as much as I love Jo. She's my everything and she makes me want to be a better man. I mean of course I love my parents and I even love Mercy and Felix but nothing will replace Jo. It's just different and it's hard to explain but in all reality she's my soulmate.
Luckily we are on the last of the bucket list items not counting the one Jo added in which I know is the reason for all the secrecy. We will get married this summer and I can't fucking wait for her to be my wife. The girls did all the other things by themselves which I was bloody grateful for since most of them involved heights which we all know I don't do well with. We did swim under the moon naked together all though we were far apart from my sister and Felix. No way was I doing that with my sister nearby. Me and Jo made love in the water with the moonlight streaming down on us. It was one of the best nights we've had so far. The flash dance was epic.
Flashback "Hurry up Hero or we're going to be late" Jo yelled at me from downstairs. "Coming love" I yelled down to her as I tried to fix the bow tie she was making me wear. "Wow you look so sexy" she said as she jumped into my arms the satin dress she was wearing riding up and leaving little to the imagination as I tried to pull it down a little making her smirk up at me. "So do you love" I said kissing her passionately. "Ok love birds let's get this party started" Mercy said excitedly as Felix and her stood together. We all drove the the restaurant where Elle, Rachel, Noah and Lee where waiting for us. One of the kids Jo and Mercy graduated with named Simon was standing by with his camera ready to record everything. "You ready for this?" Jo asks me excitedly. "Not really but I'll just follow your lead baby girl" I tell her as I place a gentle kiss on her forehead. We all go in together and take our seats around the restaurant. The other patrons are happily eating and enjoying their time with family. "Can I take your order?" Inanna asks us smirking as she knows the real reason we are here. We all eat a little and then I see Sam show up as he nods at us smiling Jo points to him and says "hit it Sam." Ellie Goulding's love me like you do comes across the speaker and Jo and Mercy pull me and Felix up as Elle grabs Noah and Rachel grabs Lee. 🎶 love me like you do, love, love me like you do what are you waiting for🎶 We start dancing together as everyone around us watches in awe and then Jo starts to sing along making most of the patrons jump from there seats as they join in the dance with us. As the song ends we all sat back down and continued eating as if nothing ever happened until the whole room erupted in cheers. The smile on Jo and Mercy's faces was worth all the blisters on my feet from practicing in these dress shoes the last few days. "That was epic" Mercy says smiling. "You were amazing babe" Felix says giving her a kiss. "Even I have to admit that was pretty cool" Noah says grinning earning a giggle from Elle as he wrapped his arms around her. "Yo yearbook we want copies of that ok man" Lee tells Simon who nods his head as Sam comes over to give the girls a hug and each of the guys dabs as he congratulates us. "Best night ever" Jo says smiling up at me. "Well looks like we are in for a lot of those my love" I say smiling down at her. End Flashback
"It's the fourth of July bitches let's get this party started" Mercy says excitedly clapping her hands as she takes out four shot glasses and pouring each one of us some patron. Her and Jo are matching in short jean shorts with little stars all over them and an American flag bikini top on. While me and Felix are wearing American flag shorts. "Did you ever picture us wankers matching our ladies?" Felix says chuckling as we each down our shot. "Only for Jo" I admit making her smile. "Your telling me you don't think this is cute" Mercy says pointing between herself and Felix. "Only for you babe" he says making her giggle as she smacks his arm playfully. "Your lucky I love you ass" she says still giggling. "Oh I know you love my ass" Felix says chuckling as he turns his bum around wagging it near her as she smacks it making Jo burst out laughing hysterically while I just sit here speechless my jaw practically dripping to the floor.
"Oh Hero your face is priceless" Jo says still giggling as she leans up and places her lips on mines making me forget the image of my sister and best friend for just a moment. I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing my baby sister in love but at least it's with my oldest and most loyal friend. Count your blessings I guess it could be a whole lot worse. Shit she could of been with a guy like Luke now that's a scary thought.
"Everyone should be here soon so let's finish setting up yeah" I say as I grab the box of fireworks. "Just don't blow anything off ok" Jo says looking down towards my manhood as she giggles. "Trust me darling that won't happen" I say chuckling back as I wrap my free arm around her. "Eww gag me with a wooden spoon" Mercy says pretending to yack. "Aye fuck off you just slapped Felix's arse right in front of me" I say to her jokingly as she rolls her eyes and continues saying "next time I'll smack his dick then." "Mercy" Jo yells giggling as she pulls her away from Felix. "That would hurt babe don't do that" Felix says chuckling as I shake my head.
We finish setting everything up for the party. All the food is spread out with the fireplace going. The tiki torches are lit up and the colors red, white and blue are everywhere. All we have to do is wait for the guests to arrive which should be any minute now. I pull Jo in my arms as we sit together on one of the chairs. "I love you" I tell her smoothing her hair and tucking it behind her ear as I graze my finger across her cheek making her smile. "I love you more" she says pulling me in for a kiss as her small arms wrap around my neck. "Happy Independence day love" I say after our lips disconnect. "Happy Independence day" she says smiling back at me.
A/N sorry it's been so long I feel like I haven't had any time to actually write a good chapter I literally deleted and rewrote this like five times already. Hope you all had a Happy Holidays with your families and friends. Next chapter will be the actual party with everyone there from Jo's pov.
