takemichi stood in the hospital frozen in place. his mind was blank. the medics barely fit the three of them inside a single vehicle. they wanted to call for an another one, but there was no time. three teens were stabbed and two of them were fighting for their lives. both went into cardiac arrest. one when the medics reached her, the other as they were driving to the hospital. both hoshiko's and draken's words kept replaying in his head.
"thanks, takemicchi...i really owe you for this. take care of mikey and hoshi for me..."
"i was around in the future, that means that even if i get stabbed, i won't die! focus on draken! find him!"
now both of them were in separate emergency rooms as two teams of medics worked on them. both of them were in critical conditions.
"this can't be happening..." emma cried as hima tried to console her as best as she could. "hina, i'm so scared.."
"how's draken?"
"is draken okay?"
both mitsuya and peh-yan come running, obviously not knowing about hoshiko. after all, she hid the fact that she was stabbed as she left to go help draken under mikey's orders.
"mitsuya-kun! peh-yan-kun!"
but their expressions fell once they were told that not only was draken in a critical condition, but hoshiko as well. "damn it! she alwaus does this! putting others first!"
"takemitchy."
all of them look up at mikey.
"mikey-kun! draken-kun and shiko-chan are–"
"yeah, i heard. where's the waiting room?"
"mikey!"
"you're being way too loud. we're in a hospital, so keep it down." he sits down on one of the benches. "both of them have always made good on their words, since way back then. they're not gonna die here. they'd never be dishonest. both of them promised!" he smiles. "shichin promised to stay by my side no matter what and kenchin said that we'd own the whole country together! so emma, mitsuya, peh-yan, tekemitchy, believe in them."
the group sit in silence. as they did, isamu ran inside, worried as hell. mitsuya texted him earlier about hoshiko. he had already been waiting outside with the others, but when he heard the news he rushed inside. he also texted his older brother, who he knew was with her brother. they deserved to know. he got a reply almost instantly.
