bloody halloween was a catastrophe in the eyes of many. the aftermath was depressing. while baji's death was pervented, the boy was in a deep coma with no signs of waking up. many visited his hospital room, chifuyu spent his days there. to mikey, the situation was too familiar. baji is in the same state as his older brother. deep asleep, fighting for his life.

will he wake up? no one knows. it could take weeks, it could take months...it could take years. no one knows for sure.

hoshiko disappeared. no one knew for sure what happened after they left. was she detained? was she in juvie already? was she injured? kazutora came clean about what happened when he tried to stab baji. he told isamu and haruto that he stabbed one of them for sure. and if it wasn't baji, it was hoshiko. mikey was already too panicked, so they decided not to tell him.

instead, they talked about it with imaushi wakasa, hoshi's brother, who told them he knew where she was and that she was okay. she's just clearing her head after the events and wants to be alone.

the girl was hospitalised again. she got herself a good room, with a lot of privacy.
only her brother knew she was here. he brought her some stuff from home and would buy her normal food. she spent most of her days playing on her console and watching movies.

hansen pulled some strings and found out where she was, since she missed the meeting. but he assured her that everything's fine and that they accepted the invitation. now they wait for further information about the events.

"excuse me." a suddenly voice startles the female and the doors open, revealing a woman she knew well.

"m..miss. baji! how.."

"i threatened the doctors."

"o..oh." the woman takes a seat next to her bed on the chair and looks at the girl.

"i brought you some homemade food."

"you didn't have to–"

"that's the only way i can repay you for saving my boy's life." she says, surprising the girl. "if it weren't for you, he wouldn't be here today. i'm grateful that you stick around those troublemakers. you always...protect them...thank you." the woman tears up, making the girl pass her a handkerchief.

"i'll always look out for them. they're my family."

"you turned out to be a wonderful person. whoever gets you as a lover will have the best life possible."
