many often wondered about akashi isamu's childhood. they asked him questions, tried to make him talk...and he couldn't blame them, even if those innocent questions made him remember a lot of unpleasant memories.

when he was younger, he would glare at the people who tried to pry into his personal life. hell, there were even brutal fights, that would end in isamu breaking bones. the fact that he didn't talk, made people think that he has anger issues. never did they try to understand, what causes him to react in such a way. instead, he was deemed as violent and unapproachable. the cold loner.

but he didn't mind. the only person he wanted in his life, was her. imaushi hoshiko.
the girl who saved him, who smiled at him and told him that everything will be okay. she was the one that saved him from a terrible life style, that gave him to ability to dream about a normal life, a proper future.

she took him away from that vile gang, gave him a home, food, clothes...everything he needed and wanted..she gave him everything. with that, she gave him affection. whenever he felt lonely, she would be there, whenever he felt like a demon wad taking over him, she would take his hands into her warm ones and smile at him. whenever he had nightmares, she rushed to his room and hold him for hours. she was his personal guardian angel...the mother, the sister and the friend he always needed, but never had.

"don't cry, samu...i'm here now. and i'll always be here for you. none of them will hurt you anymore. i won't let them. as long as you're by my side, nothing will hurt you."
