"shi-chan, you're amazing! these snowflakes are so pretty!" her classmates and teachers gush as they watch the little girl work with a small pair of scissors, cutting paper snowflakes.

"hai! momma and nii-chan are always away, so i decorate the house myself. i'm not tall enough to decorate a christmas tree, so i make a lot of snowflakes instead!" the girl explains with a small smile. "emi-chan, you like totoro, right?"

"h-hai!" hoshiko picks up an another piece of paper and cuts it once more. she hands her classmate the snowflake when she's down, making everyone gush once again.
this one was my neighbour totoro themed.

"thank you! i'll cherish this!"

"heh?" a voice catches everyone's attention. "what's so special about a piece of paper?" the boy grabs the totoro themed one and rips it apart, making the girl cry. other girls rushed to console her, while hoshiko sat there, looking at him calmly.

"shiba-kun! you can't do that!" the teachers scold the boy. that's when the girl snaps out of it and turns to the crying girl.

"it's okay, emi-chan. i can make an another one! taiju-kun will help me, right?" she turns to rhe boy, who blushes and turns away.

"like hell i will!"

the boy had a crush on hoshiko. but who didn't? she was known as the smart girl who can do everything. she was pretty, smart, kind, talented...and her smile always lit up the room. taiju being taiju, he didn't know how to show affection. his father was always away and he didn't have a mother. so he often showed his affection through aggression...just like now.

all he wanted was to get her attention, so he ripped the snowflake. that did get her attention, she even told him to help her make a new one. but now, he didn't know how to act as he achieved his little goal. so he walked away. but there was definitely a small blush on his face...
