Overbearing force of wind sprung through the streets of Tokyo, ripping leaves away from branches, strenuously breaking a few offshoots here and there.
Young girl with luscious (h/c) hair walked down the street, as surprisingly big raindrops soaked her clothes.
Attempting to open up her umbrella, forceful wind carried it, moving her along with it. She let out a startled squeak, as she tried to keep herself in one place.
I knew weather would be crazy today, but what the actual hell is going on here? It almost feels like the end of the world.
Thinking to herself, she firmly squized handle of the umbrella with both hands, as it was now completely twisted around, seeming as if it was going to break at any moment.
Just barely managing to close the umbrella, she sighed aloud, her clothes now completely wet, along with her (h/c) hair.
I guess the only option I have now is to go into the store and wait for the rain to stop. My house is too far away to run back now, and it's Friday...I have to go to that place today.
She kept on thinking about various things as she was dashing to the store entrance. The door slung open, and the girl stepped inside, as cashier's eyes were instantly pointed at her soaked physique.
„Oh, hi there Y/n.”
Averting her gaze back onto the cashier's eyes, she widely smiled, realising that cold liquid was dripping from her clothes onto the tiles.
„Uh, I'm so sorry! I didn't know I'd make such a mess if I went inside, I'll-”
„No, no, it's okay. I'm sure it's terrible outside right now, you can stay here for some time. But with clothes soaked like that, you're gonna catch a cold for sure.”
The boy who worked as a cashier already memorised Y/n since she visited this particular store every single Friday for almost two years now. She would always come inside and buy the same pack of chilly flavoured chips and one chocolate milk. The boy thought it was some sort of a tradition for her, and didn't question it, since it wasn't any of his business anyway.
But he, just like everyone else who lived nearby knew very well why the girl was coming back every Friday. They all knew and at first, they were all talking about it, pitying her, but now, they didn't talk much about it, except, they were still pitying her, way more than before, which she was utterly aware of.
Being aware of that was only making things worse for her, since she absolutely despised seeing pity in everyone's eyes.
And even now in this very moment, other people who were present at the store knew exactly why the girl came here, staring at her with the same empathetic look in their eyes.
She decided to simply ignore that, as she waited for one more minute before she decided to go take the usual stuff.
„I'll be right back Yukine-san!”
The boy who was only a few years older than her nodded with a moderate smile painted on his visage, as he followed the girl with his gaze for a few seconds.
Next customers were already at the cashier's, as Y/n was searching for needed groceries.
Grabbing what she was looking for, she quickly walked back, just to see two familiar figures in front of her.
Oh shit. Why now of all damn times?!
Just as she thought that, a pair of hazel eyes was glued to her, followed by a wide grin on the dark haired boy's face.
