Rising up from the bed, Y/n rubbed her eyes tiredly, passing by the mirror and stopping suddenly once she placed her hand on the door handle.

Strange.

Walking backwards so that she could stand in front of the mirror again, her heartbeat velocity increased, fear and nervousness occuring.

„What the fuck? Is this a joke?

Approaching the glass so much that the top of her nose almost touched it, she stared at it, terrified by the fact that she could see everything behind her so distinctly.

Stepping away from the window, her hands resting on her cheeks, her eyes still widened, she spoke.

„Am I fucking invisible?

After a few minutes of overthinking as she sat on the floor frustrated, the girl decided to get out of her room, just to confirm that she was indeed invisible once her father and aunt fail to see her.

That is what she had planned, but once she abandoned her room, finding herself in a hallway other than her own, trepidation bloomed inside of her.

„What the hell?

Whose hallway is this? Where am I? Why did that room look identical to my own? Why did I sleep there in the first place?

Deciding to keep going, she walked as noiselessly as she possibly could, avoiding attracting attention of possible kidnappers.

There is no other explanation to this. I am probably on some sort of drugs right now. I have to get back to my senses as soon as possible, while I try to find an exit from this place.

Sighting stairs, oddly familiar ones, her eyebrows furrowed, as she slowly went downstairs.

Hearing two different voices in a surprising vicinity, she followed the sound, hiding behind the walls just in case that she really was on drugs, hallucinating all of this.

„What do you mean by she can't go home?”

„Exactly as it sounds, she can't go home. She's not allowed to leave this place until we get her to make a decision.

What? These voices...they sound familiar.

Stepping closer and moving her head forward, just enough so that she could clearly see the people whom those voices belonged to, her eyes widened once again and her heartbeat fastened.

Instantly moving backwards, leaning her back against the algid wall, she breathed loudly, almost as if she could have a panic attack at any moment.

„Hold on, I heard something.

Panicking, she stopped breathing, instinctively pressing her left palm against her lips.

„Do you think she's awake?

„There's no way, but I'll go to check just in case.

„Okay.

Hearing footsteps approaching so distinctly, she started shaking. The fact that the people talking about her were indeed familiar to her didn't frighten her nowhere near as much as their conversation.

So I was right. I am under the influence of drugs. I should run. I should run...but I can't move. My body won't listen. Please, just let this be some sort of a misunderstanding.

Sighting a shadow of masculine figure, formed by the glittering orange sunset, she still refused to breathe, as the figure moved forward, now standing right beside her.
