Four days after Danzo's death, Y/n had still been spending time with Kuroo, Kenma and sometimes Riyuki. However, today, they were all at the arcade, possibly the last time they would get to go there together.

Y/n and Kuroo made one team, their color being red, while Kenma and Riyuki made the other team, their color being yellow. They were playing against five other teams.

The game went on and on, and Kuroo and Y/n successfully got rid of the orange and pink teams. Kenma and Riyuki got rid of the purple, and the blue team got rid of the green team.

Right now, Kuroo and Y/n were hiding from all other teams, as Kuroo slightly raised his head above their hiding spot, surveying the entire place in search for the other teams.

Hearing talking close by, Y/n pulled the boy strenuously by his left forearm, and he went back down to sit next to her, breathing inconsistently.

„Idiot! What are you doing?!” she muttered, poking his left arm vigorously.

„I was just checking for other teams.

„Before we hid here, I saw the blue team hiding over there,” she said, gesturing towards the nearby black wall.

„You sure?”

„Of course I'm sure idiot! Now shut up and let me take care of this,” she said, attempting to run towards the blue team's hiding spot, but the grip on her right wrist promptly pulled her back.

„What should I do then?”

„You can act like a bait,” she added with a smirk on her face, and he momentarily smirked back at her.

„Whatever you say Chibi-chan,” he mumbled, getting up and immediately attracting the attention of the blue team.

He knew that they've noticed him, but they didn't do anything to him. Y/n used the chance to run up to them while they were distracted, staring at them from above as she smirked cockily, shooting them both and promptly getting rid of their blue color.

„You guys have been following us around since the start, and that's kinda creepy, but at least you've made it easier for us to get rid of you,” she spoke, grinning at the two girls who then finally glanced up at her, and her smirk quickly vanished.

„Yuki?” she spoke, and her eyes shifted to the girl next to her first ever best friend - it was none other than the girl who had been aiming at her at the nationals while she was merely sitting on the bench.

„Hi, Y/n,” Yuki said, obviously faking a smile.

Y/n raised a brow, staring at her in confusion.

„Are you okay?” Y/n asked, and Kuroo approached her shortly after.

„Yeah, why do you ask?” she added sardonically, glaring at Y/n for a second and then glancing at the taller boy standing next to her.

„Did you get rid of them, Chibi-chan?” he asked, only then glancing at the two girls who slowly got up from the floor, smiling at him.

„She did,” Yuki added, chuckling innocently as Y/n merely observed her, still confused by her behaviour.

„Good, you did well, Chibi-chan,” he said, patting the top of Y/n's head lightly.

She promptly glared at him, „Stop doing that, I'm not three years old, Kuroo.”

„Sorry, I can't help it,” he mumbled, smirking at her once again before shifting his gaze back to the two girls who seemed to be glaring at Y/n, and only when their eyes registered his gaze, one of them chuckled again, while the other merely smiled.
