The sky turned white yet another time, decorated with multiple enormous clouds  which had covered Tokyo in snow, as the girl slowly opened her eyes to greet yet another Friday.

She abruptly got up, this time managing not to trip over her blanket and fall onto the floor per usual, as she rushed to pick clothes for the day, rushing into the bathroom soon afterward.

Finishing up her morning hygiene routine and dressing up, she brushed her hair once again, dashing down the stairs as her father already sat in the car, waiting for her.

He drove her to the school grounds, and she left a short kiss on the man's right cheek, running all the way to her classroom.

She halted for a few seconds to catch breath before entering the classroom, and as soon as her breathing had been stabilised, she knocked onto the door, entering the classroom promptly as she apologized for being late again.

„What was it this time, L/n?”

„I overslept.”, she replied honestly, looking directly into the woman's hazel eyes.

„You're really losing creativity when it comes to your excuses these days L/n...but whatever, just go and take your seat, the lecture has already started twenty five minutes ago,” the woman retorded, her eyes still glued to the (h/c) haired girl, as the girl merely walked over to her seat, glancing through the window and catching a glimpse of the two familiar figures outside of the school.

Kuroo and Kenma are having morning practice today...and I'm supposed to have practice today after school, which I cannot attend again since I have to go to the nursing home. I miss mom. I feel like I haven't seen her in months and it's only been a week. Even though I was so afraid to leave my house during these past few weeks, I've somehow managed to convince dad and aunt to take me there every Friday. Today...dad should come and pick me up after school again...at least I hope so...

„L/n...do you plan on standing there for the rest of the classes as well?”

Wincing at the sound of the woman's voice, she glanced at the dark haired woman again, shaking her head in response, as she sat down onto the chair, placing her backpack onto the table and unzipping it.

She took out her (f/c) notebook and the only pen she managed to grab this morning, opening the notebook and abstractedly glancing through the window.

I don't know why but...I feel like somebody is out there somewhere... watching me...and that scares me so much, I want to leave this place immediately, yet at the same time I don't wanna leave, because I feel like someone would try to abduct me as soon as I try to leave this place...

Once the first class came to its conclusion, everyone else in the classroom packed their stuff into their backpacks, but Y/n merely kept sitting in one place, still gazing through the window.

She didn't even notice when the teacher approached her, and only after the teacher called her name two times had she managed to come out of her trance and glance at the woman standing in front of her table.

„L/n, I don't really want to invade your privacy in any way...I'm just concerned...and that is precisely the reason for me to ask you this...” the woman spoke quietly, loud enough for Y/n to hear her clearly, but not loud enough for anyone else to discern her words.

„Are you perhaps using any sort of psychoactive substances?”

Y/n's eyes instantly narrowed at the woman's words, as her fists clenched nervously.

„You don't really have to answer to that question, but I-”

„No. I am not using any sort of psychoactive substances and even if I did, I'd never talk about it openly like this. Thank you for your concern though.”
