Just in case some of you need this:
D/n - dad's name
A/n - aunt's name
M/n - mom's name

Breathing in and out, loudly and rather quickly, palms resting on her thighs as she bent down, face colored red, Y/n just barely spoke.

„Let's...let's do it again,” she mouthed, taking another deep breath in.

„No, we won't be doing this again. Kuroo retorted sternly, arms crossed over his firm chest, his eyes examining the exhausted girl.

Turning her face in his direction slowly, still breathing faster than usual, she spoke. „But why? We still have-”

„No, Chibi-chan. We don't have more time to practice today. Do you want to know why?” he uttered assertively.

Just as she opened her mouth slightly to speak again, his voice reached her ears, stopping her before she could even utter a single word.

„Because you've been practicing for five hours daily this week. While you're at school, you have morning practice and once your classes are over and we get back home, you're practicing again with me,” he explained, eyes still fixated on her face.

She attempted speaking again, but yet another time, it ended up being in vain when Kuroo continued speaking.

„To make all of this even worse, you're barely sleeping at night. Even when you fall asleep, you wake up after approximately half an hour and sometimes an hour if you're lucky. So no, Chibi-chan, we won't keep practicing any longer today,” he said, merely staring at the girl whilst she kept staring back at him, her visage slowly displaying the picture of disappointment.

„H-hey don't look so sad...I didn't mean to sound rude or anything, I was just trying to-”

„I know, Kuroo,” she interrupted, straightening herself up, her breathing finally stabilized.

„I know that you're just trying to help me...but I've been waiting for this tournament since I was six years old. I can't just keep lounging around and still expect to win at the nationals,” unzipping her (f/c) jacket, Y/n walked over to the door, opening them and stopping herself promptly, turning around to face the boy again.

„Don't just stand there, dinner should be ready soon,”  uttering those words, she entered the house, leaving the boy on his own, while he thought about her statement from just a moment before.

Of course she can't just keep lounging around and expect to win at the nationals nevertheless...but I don't want you to overdo it, Y/n. You're supposed to get some sleep as well...if you don't sleep at night and still practice this much the whole day, your body won't be able to endure it for too long.

Standing in one place, thinking about his best friend's wellbeing, Kuroo sighed after almost a minute had passed, ultimately entering the house, glancing outside one more time just before closing the door.

Spotting a muscular man clothed in a dark green coat hiking on the sidewalk, his eyes promptly met the man's, and instead of closing the door, he decided to keep staring into the man's eyes.

That's right, keep looking at me. Chibi-chan is no longer alone, you freak.

Once the man frowned at him, Kuroo cockily smirked, closing the door at last, sighing loudly in relief.

„What were you doing just now, Kuroo?”

Hearing Y/n's voice, Kuroo twitched, turning around all tensed up, scratching the nape of his neck with his left hand, giggling nervously.
