Hyrule's POV

That morning when I woke up it was probably around late afternoon, which was normal. What wasn't normal however—was how Warriors was still asleep.

While Sky was always the one to fall asleep first and wake up last, Warriors would go to sleep last and wake up first. This was strange.

The others (minus Sky and Four) where talking some distance away from us—so not to wake us.

I knelt next to Warriors to inspect him (He won't let me check his n him if he was awake. I once had to sit on Twilight to treat an injury). He seemed fine. No temperature, no visible injuries, no nothing. Maybe that travel through the portal took a lot more out of him then I thought.

I decided that that was the case, that portal was a rough one.

I put my hand on his shoulder and shook him gently. Wars' eyes opened not long after. At first they were dazed—as if he forgot where he was—then he made eye-contact with me and smiled.

"Mornin' Traveler." He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Last night sure was rough, wasn't it?"

The way he said it was much too casual. I narrowed my eyes ever so slightly. He was definitely hiding something from me.

When I looked him over he seemed to be injury free. Maybe there was something else on his mind. Well, if that was the case then I would leave him to it. He can tell me when he wants too. But I still had a feeling that something bad was going to happen.

Once we managed to wake Sky up we started to look for any signs of civilization.

We found a half-destroyed temple that made Time stiffen. And there was a campfire had had been out for a long time under a rock overhang. In the forest we found similar ruins—signs of life that had long since passed—and several black-blooded monsters.

we came out of the woods by a bog. We walked around it-unsure if it was good or bad in this Hyrule, and made our way to a weird-looking structure by a lake.

There was a pedestal with an eye in the middle and two strange platforms. The whole thing glowed blue and there was a Sheikah eye on the side of the triangular top.

Sky, Twilight, Four, and Time investigated the structure, while Legend, Warriors, Wind, and I looked off of the nearby edge and onto the Kingdom of Hyrule.

I was amazed at what I saw. From my advantage point at the highest part I could find, I saw the biggest Hyrule I have seen yet. I was in awe.

The weirdest thing was the blue towers scattered all over the land. There were also four pillars surrounding the castle.

Wait a minute—

I finally noticed the condition Hyrule Castle was in. It was really far away, but I could still see crumbling spires and missing towers.

To my right I could see the ruined remains of a building.

What had happened here? Why was everything destroyed?

I looked back at the others just as the four studying the weird building rejoined us and looked out over Hyrule as well.

They saw the same view as me, the same ruin. It took a few minutes for some of them to come back to their senses after getting lost in their thoughts. Which makes sense. There is a lot to think about this.

Legend was the first to speak.

"What happened here?"
