A Hero's Doubts

Sky's POV

We don't know what to do without Wild, Twi, and Legend.

So Time decided to just continue with our original mission until they can be found, they would do the same thing.

So for the next few days, we traveled from island to island fighting any black-blooded monsters we come into contact with.

Warriors seems to be getter better with the rocking of the ship, but still prefers to stay above deck.

Warriors also suggested that we sleep on solid ground, even though on the boat, we won't need shifts.

But, Wars insisted.

That first day on sea, I could've sworn I saw Wars talking to someone.

It might've been a mental conversation, but his expressions would change like they do in conversation.

I didn't push the subject because I believe everyone is entitled to their secrets.

I prayed to Hylia almost every night that she would either send us to the Hyrule the others are in, or send them to us.

But no such luck.

I can only hope that the others can find their way to us. Or us them.

Morale had been low ever since they didn't come through the portal.

I don't know if Hylia meant for them to go to another time, or if something messed her up. All I know is (hopefully) it isn't the shadow.

We've been tracking the shadow down across Hyrule's ever since Hylia first threw us together.

She had me go meet Time, then eventually, we met the others, one at a time.

Warriors was very reluctant to go, and we had to practically drag him through the portal.

Then, I started to question Hylia's actions.

Why was any of this important?

If the shadow came into my Hyrule, I would go after it. And I know the others would too.

So what's the point if staying apart would probably have had a better outcome then banding together?

Don't get me wrong, I love this found family of ours, but still. You've gotta wonder...

Sorry about the short chapter, but I don't have much inspiration for any more.

I promise I'll try to make the next one longer.

I still haven't come up with a reason why they got split yet, so far I've got Midna and nothing. 😅
