Wars' POV

I am fed up with Hylia.

First she introduces us to a new Link, who obviously went through something that scared him into silence and gave him scars that I only ever saw on corpses, then she throws three of us into a different Hyrule.

Life was great.

We couldn't contact the others.

Four wrote letters in Twilight and Legend's Hylian, but we haven't seen the postman. The only other person that we know of, who can travel between Hyrules.

I got a little seasick on the ocean, so I did not feel like going out again.

But the others wanted to search for the others. Maybe they got dropped on another island. Maybe I was going to puke my guts out if I go on that wooden monstrosity.

But I came anyways.

Wind said goodbye to his friends, and to write a letter if the others miraculously show up.

If the others show up on Outset, I'm going to scream.

Because I really don't want to spend Hylia knows how long on a boat. In the middle of the ocean. No solid ground in sight.

The only good thing was, as we were pulling out from port, Wind looked happier than ever.

He looked in his element, ordering people around to make the trip easy.

Since we had absolutely no idea what they were talking about, Wind and Tetra left us alone. Which I am thankful for.

I retched over the side of the boat.

I heard snickering nearby.

I lifted my head and glared at Four. Although I might not look very imitating at the moment.

"Don't... tell... Legend... or... Artemis." I said shakily.

Legend would tease me for months, and Artemis being a queen won't hesitate to do the same.

If we ever end up in my Hyrule for months, that is.

I then started thinking about how long this quest would last.

Sure, I loved the others. They were like brothers to me, and I wouldn't trade them for the world, but I still missed home.

We haven't been in my Hyrule for quite a while.

Every time we do go, I always worry that my friends forgot me. I had been replaced as Captain of the Royal Guard.

I don't blame them for doing that, but it still hurt that they thought this would be permanent.

I felt a warm tingling in my chest.

Don't think like that, Link. Proxi said. You'll go home. Hylia is merciful and wouldn't make you do something that would be permanent.

'How do you know that?' I asked her. 'How do you know she would do that?'

I sat myself down on the deck, my back to the ship.

I just know. Proxi retorted.

I smiled to myself. Proxi was a good friend. She was kind albeit a little bossy, and is always there for me.

We met during the first battle of the war.

She had been cornered, defenseless, against monsters.

We had been friends ever since.

Some relationships that are born in times of crisis don't survive after it, but Proxi, my other friends, and I are still close.

No one knows about Proxi's existence.

I don't know how they'll act, to be honest.

Proxi isn't a healer fairy (she told me the difference), or anything they might see as useful.

She's just a friend who I can always confide in. She also had the ability to help people talk, no matter how far they are.

But you have to have her touch for that. I would've done that but again, I would have to tell the others about her.

My feeling darkened.

Maybe I should've. Then we would be able to talk to the others. Although I don't know if it would work across time.

I think it would. Proxi said, interrupting my thoughts. But I'm not sure.

'Not very helpful, Proxi.' I thought lightheartedly.

"Alright everyone!"

I looked up. Wind and Tetra were standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the middle of the deck.

"I know none of you know the names of any place here, so I'm just gonna say we'll be approaching land soon." Wind said.

I sighed in relief.

Proxi giggled from somewhere in my chest.

Hope you're enjoying Wild Secrets. I'm very proud of it.

By the way, I mentioned that there are more than one type of fairy so I decided to list them.

Healer Fairies: Fairies who's main job is to help anyone in pain. They are either born with the ability to heal, or are taught it from a very young age. They are pink in color/glow, with green wings.

Helper Fairies: Fairies who don't have many significant powers, but if you have have their touch, you can mentally speak to anyone else who also has the touch of the same fairy. Touches can only be given willingly on both sides. They are blue in color/glow with blue wings.

Feral Fairies: Fairies who can be any of another category, but don't want to be who they were born to be. (Healing magic and touches can me leaned.) They don't have a definite color/glow.

Shadow Fairies: Fairies who are tricksters and thieves who can't be trusted. They usually hide in shadow (which is how they got their name). Their most common glow is black or purple, but they have varieties.
