I'm Mean and Don't Know Any Island Names

Time's POV

I'm pretty sure Warriors' face will forever be tinged green for the rest of his life.

He clutched the ship's railing with a death grip.

"Don't anyone tell Legend." He hissed before hurling over the edge. Sky patted his back reassuringly.

Wind and Tetra were battling over the wheel, making me relatively anxious as we approached a outcropping of sharp rocks.

Finally, Tetra won and smugly steered the ship away from the rocks as Wind sulked his way up the mast to the Crow's Nest. He looked out over the water through his spyglass.

One of Wind's crew mates—Niko—snapped at Sky, who was dozing off against the side for not doing any work. As he slugged off pulling a mop across the deck.

We spent a few hours above and below deck, wasting time as the boat rocked in the waves.

I dealt out another round of cards to Four and Hyrule and I when another crew mate burst into the cabin.

"We're approaching land!" He crowed before promptly leaving.

I looked at the others, raising an eyebrow. Four shrugged and pushed away from the table. Hyrule gathered the cards and we left them on the table...

...Only to be spilled on the ground when the ship hit another swell.

We made our way up to the main deck to look out in the direction Wind was pointing.

A island rose out of the roiling sea.

Wind threw the anchor off board and the ten (+ Tetra) of us loaded into the lifeboat and paddled ashore.

Tetra stayed behind to light a fire and keep an eye on the boat while the rest of us went out black-blooded-monster-hunting... Name pending.

It didn't take us long to encounter a lynel with a white mane.

No one recognized it, so we suspected it came though from Wild's time. If so, he would probably be the most adapt to fight it.

We don't know it's patterns or it's way of fighting or anything else about it.

"Warriors," I said. "You're the sniper. Hyrule, you stay back, we'll most likely need a healer in one piece. The rest of us will try to find any weak point and exploit it for Wars."

They nodded and began to disperse.

I stayed where I was while Hyrule hid behind a tree, Wars found a advantage point, and the others spread out around the lynel, waiting for my signal.

The lynel paced back and forth, unaware about the heroes who now surround it.

I waited until Sky was directly across from me. He met my eye and nodded, hand wrapped around the Master Sword.

I nodded back and waved my hand in a large arc as the beast turned away.

All at once, the woods erupted.

Four heroes pushed out of the brush, weapons drawn. Arrows rained down from a cliffside to my right.

The Lynel bucked, forcing Wind and Four to back away. But they quickly got back in to land several gaping hits.

Sky and I were the distraction so the two smallest heroes can do their damage without getting in harm's way. For the most part, anyway.

Sky and I leaped apart and to the side as the beast rushed forward, using its arms to propel itself.
