When Sebastian woke up Zoe had moved and was now clung to his side. He smiled when she looked up at him.
"How was you're nap?" Zoe asked him,
"It was good" Sebastian turned to look at the clock and saw that it was dinner time. "On my god, I'm so sorry Zoe, I never gave you any food"
"That's okay, how about we get some now"
"Let's do it, what would you like?"
"I don't know"
"How about pizza"
"Sounds good," They got off the bed and Sebastian helped Zoe into the kitchen.
"Can I have some Advil?"
"Absolutely" Sebastian picked Zoe up and placed her on the counter. He propped Zoe's crutches up and walked to the cabinets. He opened them while lightly humming a song. He pulled out a bottle of pills and dumped one in his hand. He gave it to Zoe along with a cup of water. Zoe downed the pill and set the cup of water next to her. "Now tell me," Sebastian began, "What as the last thing you were doing in math?"
"Umm, multiplication and division"
"Okay, tell me what is 3x5 is"
"15" Zoe responded quickly,
"Very good, try 7x9"
"63" Zoe said just as quickly,
"15x12"
"180"
"18 divided by 9"
"2"
"130 divided by 13"
"10" Sebastian looked at Zoe for a moment before speaking,
"Can you tell me what 130x13 is?" Zoe looked down at her hands as she thought. After a minute Sebastian thought she didn't know and went to get paper to see if it would help.
"1690" Sebastian looked back at Zoe and pulled out his phone, he quickly put the problem into his calculator and sure enough the answer was 1690. "The square rout is 41" Sebastian put that in the calculator as well, "plus change" Sebastian put his phone in his pocket and walked quickly over to the fridge and pulled out a pizza dough. He took it out of the bag and handed it to Zoe.
"Start needing the dough, I'll be right back" Zoe took the dough from Sebastian and began needing it. Sebastian walked out of the kitchen and out of ear shot of Zoe. He took his phone out and dialed the first number he thought of. The one who wasn't busy with his own kids.
