Chapter 31

(Sorry this is more of a filler chapter)

After a few minutes Zoe had fallen asleep, her light snores filled the room, Sebastian smiled down at the angle laying in his lap.
It didn't take long for Sebastian to follow suit and fall asleep with his head resting on the headrest.
The next morning Zoe woke up with her foot in pain, when she was fully awake she let out a small whimper. It woke up Sebastian and he looked down to see Zoe hugging her knees, Sebastian's heart broke into a thousand pieces, he had never imagined this would be so hard on Zoe.
Sebastian started to lightly run his fingers through Zoe's hair,
"I'm so sorry, did I wake you up?" Zoe said as she whipped her tears from her cheeks,
"Don't worry about it, I want to make sure you are okay, do you need anything?"
"No I'm okay"
"Sweetie you're not okay, I love you and I know when your not feeling well"
"I'm sorry"
"Don't be sorry, can I get you pain medication?"
"Yes please, but I don't want to be a burden"
"Hey, Honey, you are never going to be a burden, I love you with all my heart"
"I love you too" Sebastian lifted Zoe's head with his hands and lightly laid it on the couch, he gave her a kiss on the four head and walked into the kitchen, he opened the cupboard and pulled out a bottle of ibuprofen, he reached into another cupboard and pulled out a medium glass, he went over to the sink and filled up the cup, he walked back into the living room and saw Zoe sketching in her book,
"What are you drawing?" Sebastian asked,
"I'm drawing Paul"
"Do you want to give it to him today?"
"We can go to set?"
"Of course"
"When?"
"I was planning on going after lunch"
"Sounds good"
"Great, now here is some ibuprofen and a glass of water" Sebastian took one pill out and handed it to Zoe, along with the glass of water, Zoe took the pill and stayed sitting up on the couch. "Do you want to watch something?"
"Could we go to the park and read?"
"That sounds great, I'll go get your book, what one do you want?"
"Maze runner"
"Sounds good, I'll be right back" Sebastian walked upstairs and grabbed his book and Zoe's.
Once they got to the park Zoe found a nice shaded tree area,
"What are you reading?" Zoe asked once they both sat down,
"The catcher in the rye, it's my favorite book"
"Sounds good"
"Why do you like the maze runner so much? You read it just about every week"
"There a family, even when some of them pass on, they always make them a part of their new home, and they stick together through everything, and even though they have there bumps in the road they are family, and they love each other, it makes me think of you and me"
"I love the way you look at things, it makes me have a new outlook on most things" they smiled at each other, read and snacked until it was time to go to set.
