Sebastian Stan's daughter

Chapter 10

Zoe looked out the window of the cop car as it drove down the road, she couldn't help hoping that when she got to wherever they where taking her Sebastian was going to be waiting to take her home,
"We're here" the officer said
"Where is here?" Zoe asked
"Your new home" the officer said with a smile, Zoe rolled her eyes and got out of the car, Zoe looked up at a house with rose bushes lining the front of the house, the door was a peachy pink and there was a little rock path leading up to the door, the officer went and knocked on the door and almost instantly a plump older woman flung the door open,
"Hello! Is she here?" The lady asked
"Yes, here is Zoe Watts" the officer said
"That's not my name" Zoe said
"Of course it is, you are from our family after all" the lady said
"Ya sure, but my name is not Zoe Watts, it's Zoe Stan"
"We talked about this, the 3 months didn't end you are still Zoe Watts"
"I don't want to be a Watts and live here, I want to be a Stan and live with Sebastian"
"Sorry honey but you have to live with these nice people"
"Why?"
"Because they are your family"
"No, Sebastian is my family"
"Okay just calm down, let's get you inside, I just finished making muffins, would you like some?" Zoe nodded her head and followed the lady into the house, the officer got back in her car and drove off.
Inside the house was 3 older lady's who looked to be in their 30's just like Sebastian, there were also 3 boys who looked like they were in their mid 20's maybe younger,
"Okay everyone this is Zoe, she was James and Phoebe's daughter"
"Hi" Zoe said quietly,
"Hey there, my name is Rebecca but you can call me Becka"
"I'm Rose"
"I'm Sofia"
"I am Teresa"
"Teresa like from the maze runner?" Zoe asked,
"I see your a fan, books or movies?" Teresa asked,
"Books, I love seeing the details authors put in that they try to make come to life on screen"
"I quite agree" Teresa said with a smile,
"Not to ruin the moment but I'm Zack" said one of the boys,
"I'm Steve"
"And I'm Mal"
"Well it's very nice to meet you all" Zoe said,
"We hope you will feel at home here" Mal said,
"I think I will, can someone show me my room?" Zoe asked,
"Of course dear, and then after I can show you the library, would you like that?" Teresa asked, Zoe smiled and nodded her head, "let's go" Teresa stuck out her hand for Zoe to grab, Zoe ran forward and took her hand in hers.
Teresa took Zoe into a fairly small room, there was a black bookshelf against the wall and a small twin bed in the corner, Zoe ran over to the window and found she had a view of the front door she also had a view of a forest that started about a football field from the yard, "I know it's not much but I really do hope you like it" Teresa said,
"I love it" Zoe said, "it's just the right size" Teresa smiled,
"Well you can put your bag on the bed and we can get the rest of your things from Sebastian's house another day" Tears welled up in Zoe's eyes at Sebastian's name, "hey are you alright?" Teresa asked,
"Ya, it's just, I thought Seb cared for me, but this is the second time he has left me and I wasn't sure he was coming back the first time and I didn't even know him at that point, and now I do know him, and he practically pushed me away" a few tears fell down Zoe's cheek,
"Hey, hey it's okay, your with us now, and we will never give you up"
"And I love you guys for that but a small part of me wishes I was at home or on set with Seb, with him holding be and making me feel safe"
"Well I can't help you with that feeling, I know a male father figure embrace can not compare to one of a mother but I can take you out of your thoughts," Teresa stuck out her hand once again, "let me show you the library" Zoe took her hand and left her room and walked across the street to the library.
"This is the town library, you are welcome to come here anytime you need to get away, that's what I did when I was a kid" Teresa said
"Can we go inside?" Zoe asked
"Of course we can" Teresa and Zoe walked into the library, books where stacked high on shelves and arm chairs circled around the room, everywhere you looked someone was sucked into a world made of paper, and Zoe couldn't help but think what had sucked them in today, "do you like it?" Teresa asked in a whisper,
"It's amazing, can I go look at books?" Zoe asked,
"Of course meet me back here in 2 hours"
"Thank you" Zoe smiled and ran off trying to find book she was going to get lost in this time, after a while Zoe found a book in the back of the library, the spine was red with blue and gold trim, Zoe took the book out and looked at the cover, it read Discourse on method, Zoe had never heard of this book, she opened up and looked at the checkout card, the last time it was checked out was to, Sebastian Stan, Zoe gasped and flipped through the book, in the middle was a piece of paper, Zoe skimmed the note not taking in any of it, at the bottom the note was signed, Sebastian, Zoe closed the book and hugged it to her chest, Zoe wanted to be mad at Sebastian if fact she wanted to be ferrous and part of her was, but a part of Zoe knew she wanted Sebastian in her life and until she found a way to get back to him, she would have this book.
