Chapter 11

Zoe walked around the library picking out a few more books, such as, Maze runner 1-3, Percy Jackson 1 and 2, and finally a Avengers comic, Zoe walked back to meet Teresa, she also had a book in her hands,
"Wow, you seemed to have enjoyed yourself" Teresa said with a laugh,
"Ya, but I did really enjoy myself"
"And that's all that matters, here" Teresa handed Zoe her library card, "go get your books and meet me outside"
"Okay" Zoe took the card and checked out her books,
"Discourse on method," the librarian said, "now I can't even remember the last time this was checked out, what made you want this book?"
"It was my, father figures last read so I thought I would give it a try"
"Well, have fun reading" Zoe smiled and walked outside and met up with Teresa,
"Are you ready to go home?" Teresa asked
"Um, I'm ready to go back, yes"
"It's okay if your not ready to call it your home yet, in time I think you will learn to love it" Zoe and Teresa walked back home and Zoe went straight upstairs and started reading.
For the next few days, Zoe spent her time at the library and walking around outside, every night they did a family dinner, even though Teresa and Mal were the only ones who really talked to her but so far everyone seemed really nice, and it had been almost a day since Zoe thought about Sebastian until a knock at the door, Zoe had gone downstairs to get a snack, when a knock came from the door,
"I'll get it" Mal yelled out, Mal opened the door and saw a man standing there, "can I help you?"
"Hi I'm here to see Zoe" Zoe stopped in her tracks she knew that voice,
"Of course but who are you? If you don't mind me asking"
"Not at all, I'm Sebastian Stan I had adopted Zoe before you guys claimed her"
"Right, well let me go get her, would you like to come in?"
"No I actually have to get something from my car but I will be right back" Sebastian left to get something from his car and Mal turned to Zoe,
"Would you like to see Sebastian?" Mal asked,
"He came back?"
"Ya, he did, would you like to see him?"
"No, I don't think I can face him yet"
"That's alright, how about you go upstairs with your snack and do some reading"
"Okay" Zoe went upstairs and Mal went back to the door to find Sebastian already waiting there,
"I am sorry to tell you this, but Zoe doesn't want to see you right now, I am so sorry" Sebastian sighed and held back his tears,
"That's fine, but I did come to give you these" Sebastian handed Mal a few papers,
"What is it?" Mal asked,
"It is a notice, I want to take Zoe's case to court to fight for her custody"
"Oh, ya, when is it?"
"Tomorrow at 9, it's a 2 day trial"
"Alright, is that all?"
"Ya I will see you all tomorrow"
