I'm sorry if I confused anyone with the change in the title, I wasn't like the previous one but the story is still the same!

As always, I hope you enjoy and if you feel like it, leave a comment- I love reading and responding to them <3

If you want something to read while waiting for this to update, I have a tdbkdk fantasy au that is updated on Fridays. It's currently at around 100k words and still ongoing :) It's called Aether Born.\

Weak.

Shoto was getting weak- he decided this after waking up tried, sore and his enhancer quirk overly sensitive. The electricity in the air was humming far too loud accompanied with his steady heartbeat that thundered in his ears. He had half a mind to skip classes and stay home to sleep but of course he knew he couldn't do that.

Though it didn't stop him from hating every moment of dragging himself out of bed. Nor did it stop him from hoping a torpedo would run trough the school and canceled everything.

He wondered if Shigaraki could make it happen if he called.

Probably not

Now would Shiggy be angry if Shoto burned the place down? Maybe initially he wondered if he could get away with it.

Shoto winced and groaned as he sat up and was (painfully) reminded of the wound on his stomach. Stupid hero.

Sparing a glance at the bandage, he saw, thankfully, that it was only slightly red. That meant the bleeding had, mostly, stopped. He would have to change it anyway, but at least he knew it wasn't going to bleed through so long as it stayed closed.

And Touya wouldn't heal him if he let it get infected. Well, he would but he'd be passive aggressive with it.

Shoto would avoid infection; even though the cut had been stitched partially together, there was still room where bacteria could get inside if he wasn't careful.

As quickly as he could, which wasn't that quick given his state, Shoto switched out the used bandage for a new one and dressed in his uniform. He did all the mundane things necessary to get ready for the day, hating every second of it and he tried, he really tried, not to imagine one specific face.

Shoto almost made it out the door, breakfast in his hand before Katsuki's face flashed inside his head.

Those red eyes and that blonde hair. His easy smile and soft, oh his lips had been so soft. Needing.

Wanting.

Shoto wasn't sure he'd ever be able to feel them again. Why did that make him feel so bad?

Shoto shook his head of the thought as he left the house. He had to let go of whatever was forming between the two of them. They were strangers now and he would have to get used to that.

There was not going to be any more small touches in the hallways, no more escaping during lunch to ravage each others lips. No more sweet words as they held each other. Shoto closed his eyes against all those memories. He would be fine.

He had to be fine. All Shoto would have to do is ignore him and try not to remember his touches and beautiful, needing sounds as they kissed. He could do it- he would be fine.

So long as he kept their contact to a minimum.

But as Shoto walked into the school, making his way to the classroom five minutes early as he always did with Katsuki, he shouldn't have been surprised when he met the blonde walking towards the same door as him.
