Katsuki's leg bounced in his seat again as he waited for class to start the next morning. It had been an entire day since he saw Shoto or made any contact with him at all. He'd called Shoto another twenty times before he went to sleep but each time he was sent to voice-mail. It was like Shoto's phone didn't even exist anymore but then, he knew the number was still in service so why the hell wasn't Shoto answering?

He was getting more and more worried as each minute passed and Katsuki swore to himself that if Shoto didn't come in today, or message him at all, he was going to go over to his house and demand an answer.

Really, he just needed to know that Shoto was okay. That he was safe; Katsuki had barely been able to sleep the night before and of course the little sleep he did get, it was riddled with nightmares.

There was seven minutes left until the school day started and Shoto still wasn't there. Katsuki chewed on the inside of his lip, feelings something between worry and terror that something was really wrong and Shoto was hurt.

Every few seconds he checked his phone even though he knew it was pointless. Shoto didn't have his phone and if he did, then he was ignoring Katsuki.

Either way, it was clear Shoto wasn't going to message him on his phone. Still, he checked it.

Just in case.

Katsuki started at his lock screen wallpaper, that soft picture of Shoto that always has his heart fluttering but now only left him with worry.

"Hey," Izuku said, sliding into his seat next to Katsuki. The blonde looked up and let out a soft sigh.

"Hey," he responded, tossing his phone onto the top of his desk face down before deciding to flip it around. Just in case. "Did you figure it out?" he asked, figuring it was better to try and focus his mind on something else, rather than the growing fear inside of him.

Izuku met his eyes, furrowing his brows, "huh?" he asked and then, "oh, the work?" Katsuki nodded briefly, "yeah I got it."

Katsuki nodded again, putting his head in his hand in such a way that he had an open line of sight to the door. "Good."

"Thank for the help last night." Izuku said softly, messing with the pages of his folder that he plopped down on his desk.

"Yeah," Katsuki said, still bouncing his leg. He never was the one for nervous habits before but he hadn't been able to stop since Shoto stormed off two days earlier. Katsuki still couldn't figure out what happened.

What it something he said? Did? Oh, he didn't know- he'd gone over the entire day in his head so many times and he just couldn't figure it out.

"Still nothing?" Izuku asked, eyeing Katsuki's bounching leg.

"What?" Katsuki asked, a bit more irritated than what Izuku deserved but he was nervous. He was scared.

"From Todoroki." Izuku clarified, chewing on the inside of his cheek. He picked up his pencil and tapped the eraser to the desk a few times.

"Oh," Katsuki said, pressing on his phone screen to see it empty, again. "Nothing." He said, trying not to let his worry through but Izuku had known him long enough to recognize the fear.
