"What are those?", Ivy asked curiously.

She stood in front of his bookshelf, pointing at his notebooks.

"Notebooks."
"Yeah, no shit. I can see that."
"They are my...memories. Everything I remember is in there. And I keep adding to them, in case I...lose my memory again."
"Oh."

She looked at him for a second, then she held her hand out for him.
"You want a hug?"

Bucky chuckled and nodded.
Ivy wrapped her arms around him and she gave him a kiss.

"Can I see one? It's okay if not, you know I'm just so fucking nosey, I always wanna..."

"It's alright, I don't mind. Most of it you probably know anyways. I'll take a shower."
"Okay. Thanks for trusting me."
"Of course."

He gave her a kiss and vanished into the bathroom.
Ivy picked the newest notebook and sat down on the floor with it, leaning against the bed.

"It's been a few weeks since Ivy and I got together.
We're trying to keep it a secret, but it's difficult.
She's amazing though, she's everything I ever wanted.
The way she deals with all my stuff gives me hope. That one day, I might be able to lead a normal life.
Maybe even with her. Hopefully with her. "

Then he had written down how they had met, gone out, fought and eventually fallen in love.
He had wrote down how she looked, and how she talked, how she moved and laughed, what colour her eyes were, what her skin felt like.
How her personality was and how she made him feel.

She had never heard anybody talk about her like that.
Everything he had written down, every word, was so full of love and admiration she started tearing up a little.
In his eyes she was perfect. Just like she was.

He even mentioned how she dealt with his nightmares.
Every little detail, it was all in there.
He was obviously an incrdibly good observer.

She heard the door behind her, and he came out of the bathroom, without a shirt.

"What'd you read?, he asked, as he sat down on the bed, next to her, gently playing with her hair.

"What you wrote about me."
"Oh, god."
"Are you blushing?", she asked laughing and crawled on top of him.

He smirked and lay his hands on her hips as she was sitting on his lap.
"Maybe a little."

"It's so cute. I've never heard anyone say those things about me, you know. I'd love to see myself through your eyes for a day or so", she smiled and stroked over his face, he let himself sink back onto the mattress.

"Me too. I would love to see myself the way you see me", he said.
"I'd love for you to see that. You're just...everything."
"Come on, give me a kiss, love."

She bowed down and gave him a long, soft kiss, after which she stayed lying on top of him, burying her face in his neck.

He stroked over her back for a while, softly kissed her on the forehead and sighed.

"I have to leave in a few minutes, though."
"Where to?"
"Got some stuff to do. I told you."
"Right. I'm sorry, I forgot."
"Of course you did."
"Hey!"
"Oh that wasn't supposed to be a reproach, just stating the facts."

Ivy grinned and gave him another kiss.

"I love you."
"I love you too."

Sam and Bucky were just disarming a few mercenaries, trying to get information about potential threats out of them, when Bucky's phone suddenly rang.

Ivy.
He sighed, grabbed the guy in front of him by the neck and forced him onto his knees, before answering with his free hand.

"Hey doll. You okay?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry, I know you said you're busy but I just remembered a story that I need to tell you.."

He sighed.
"Can it wait?"

"Well, technically it can, but we both know I'll forget."

"Then write it down."

"I can't write down the whole story, Buck. Plus, I still won't remember."

"Then write down a few keywords and put them on the counter in the bathroom. Then I'll find them and remind you, okay?"

"Oh...yeah, okay. Good idea. Sorry for disturbing."

"No, it's okay, doll. I'll see you tonight, okay?"

"Yeah. I love you, be safe."

"I will. I love you too."

He hung up and knocked the guy in front of him out.
Sam shook his head.

"You really had to take that now?!"

"Yeah. I'm not gonna ignore her! What if something happened?"

"What the hell is gonna happen? She's at home!
The only thing that might happen is that she forgets something, or hyperfocuses on some dumb shit!"

"Don't talk about her like that. We both know there's a lot more that could happen. She's not just adhd", Bucky said.

"That's...of course she isn't, that wasn't what I meant!", Sam defended himself.
"I know. Come on, we still have stuff to do."
"I know."

When he got home, Ivy was already in bed, but waiting for him.

He lay down hext to her, carefully pulling her into his arms and she lay her head on his chest.

Then, she looked up and stroked over his hair.
It was growing out a little, she liked it that way.

"Your hair is getting a little curly", she said softly, and he chuckled.
"Yes. I know."
"I like it."
"Good to know."

"What did you do today?", she asked and he sighed.

"We...we were searching for clues, basically. Tony says he has got reliable information about Hydra. Apparently they are on the rise again."

"What? I thought that was history!", she said concerned and he swallowed.

"Yeah, me too. But apparently they don't die out so easily."

"Fuck."

"Yeah. I didn't want you to worry, so I didn't tell you this morning."

"It's okay. I'm just glad you got back safely."

He pulled her closer into his arms and she gave him a kiss.

"Sleep well."
"You too."
