The bell rang just when Perrie made it to the hospital. "Oh shit- you know what? F*ck classes."

She was exhausted so she took a moment to catch her breath by bending over and panting.

"Perrie?"

She stood straighter and looked ahead.

Yoongi and Ray Ray looked like they had just been about to enter the hospital.

"What the- what are yous doing here?" She walked up to them with open arms.

Yoongi was smiling easily.

"We uh . . . came here to investigate the case that everyone's tryna solve." Ray felt a bit embarrassed saying it out loud.

"Investigate." Yoongi repeated slowly.

"Oh wow. So we both had the same plan." She was standing in front of them. "Cause the doctor should have an idea of what kinda shape Leigh was in when she came in right?"

"I . . . would have gone in and asked yesterday but I had . . . been busy to walk her back to the room." Yoongi spoke with closed eyes.

"Right. Anyway, we're all here so let's do this quick before we miss too much class." Ray started leading the way in.

"Text Kook and Seok to go get Leigh and walk her to class." Perrie told Yoongi as they walked up to the front desk.

"Done before you asked." Yoongi smirked at her.

"Hmm you're good. You creep me out but Jes made no mistake in having you as her bestie slash friend keeper." Perrie patted his back.

"The best." Yoongi said.

The nurse at the desk seemed surprised. "Oh gosh. Students from senior class four again? What is going on with your class these days?" She seemed to be dialling a number.

"Wait, no, no don't do that we uh . . . actually came to ask something about one of our classmates?" Ray said. "None of us are hurt or anything. We just wanted to ask about Leigh-Anne Pinnock. She apparently came in here late last night and she isn't really speaking to us and we really just wanna know what happened to her 'cause what she says and what we're seeing are two different things."

"She communicates through writing." Perrie clarified.

The nurse seemed a little confused but she held up a finger and started checking her computer. "Okay let's see . . . oh ok. So Leigh-Anne Pinnock came in here around three thirty a.m last night and . . . Dr. Steven was the one who treated her so I'll go ahead and call him to the front. He's in right now so you're lucky." She picked up her phone and dialled his number.

In a few minutes the doctor was here. "Hi there students of senior class 4. Seems the hospital is your new favourite place huh?" He laughed. He was tall and lanky and had big bulging grey eyes. His hair was brown and combed neatly. It was slicked down.

Perrie cringed. He had actually been here when she came in to get her hand bandaged. She rubbed the affected area.

"We're just here to ask about Leigh-Anne Pinnock. She came in here last night with an injured ear didn't she? She wrote to us- she can't talk- that she tripped and hurt her ear but we all feel like that's a lie. Can you tell us about the state she was in when she came?" Ray sounded like a real detective. Because it's what I'm meant to be. Who would have thought that having crazy classmates would come in handy? Not that I'm happy about Leigh's demise. I feel sorry for her but this is indeed quite exciting to me.

Dr Steven took a deep breath and looked upward. "Leigh-Anne, Leigh-Anne- oh I remember- ha kidding. I knew exactly who you were talking about. Thankfully, not many students come here." He pointed at them. "Yes I was here when she came in. She was . . . in a state." He rubbed his chin. "Her clothes looked ready to fall off her body with how worn out and stretched they were and I think one of her sleeves was ripped off. Looked like she'd been attacked by a wild animal. Piece of her ear was ready to fall off but I'd managed to stitch it back on. Uhh . . . she hadn't been speaking so we went ahead and did a full examination. Lots of scratches and bites on her skin, swelling, bruises . . . I'd say that someone beat on her but her face wasn't messed up. It was just her body so . . ."
