The next morning brought everyone of senior class four hanging around the classroom before sessions started as usual.

"So I was like . . . no way." Prodigy laughed at his own joke.

"You cannot just say the end of a joke and expect it to be funny Prodigy. The whole joke is necessary for the laughs." Hoseok said with a finger raised and wide eyes. He spoke in his usual candid way.

Prodigy was not amused by him pointing that out. "Man what d'you know about jokes? Nigga I ain't neva heard you tell a joke in yo life! You are not funny! This man is not funny! You be out here coming for ma jokes!" He was going on and on where he sat on Hoseok's desk. Jungkook was sitting next to him.

"You don't really need to tell a joke Prodigy. Do you know why? Because you're funny all on your own." Jungkook laughed.

Prodigy's face dropped. "Woooow way to take a jab at me Jungkook. You know I thought we was friends but y'all just out here assaulting ma character as if it's okay and y'all making jokes on me as if . . ."

The two boys appeared ashamed.

"Sorry Prodigy." They said together.

Prod sighed. "Okay y'all it's fine, it's fine." He patted either of their heads and saw Hoseok shake his head afterwards. "What? You think ma hands dirty? What? Cause I'm black? Y'all need to stop being racist-"

"No, no he is just still unfamiliar with you Prodigy. He didn't mean it in a bad way." Jungkook was telling him.

"Oh . . ." Prodigy looked embarrassed. "Well um . . . sorry then." He said.

"It's okay." They both said.

Prod smiled. Look at me. I'm like a whole new person. I'm so much better than I was last semester. I'm here apologizing to people and- growth?? Did somebody say growth? Yeah I be growing!

He saw Jimin entering the class through his peripheral vision and this made him grin. I been doing so much growth that I ain't even mad at Jimin for breathing. I do not feel threated at ALL! I am growing aand CHANGING! "JIMIN!"

"Ah!" Jimin startled once he heard Prodigy yell at him.

Prod was wearing his aggressive angry grin but he wasn't mad. "Wassup bro? You looking fly today. Hahay!"

Jimin smiled. "Thank you Prodigy. You look fly-"

"Oh so you ain't gon' compliment me-" Prod was saying.

"I was just about to but you cut me off." Jimin wore an embarrassed smile as he scratched the back of his head.

"Oh . . ." Prod blushed. "Well. Say it. Compliment me."

"Oh yes you look nice Prodigy. I like your new haircut." Jimin smiled.

"Thanks man." Prodigy looked bashful. "Aye we should catch up. What you been up to?"

"Nothing much. I was just about to go to my seat over there to . . . do some before class reading." Jimin was saying carefully. While he was at the door he had heard Prodigy getting defensive. "How are you? Are you okay?" He sounded concerned.

"Yeah man I'm good." Prod appeared sad for a moment before he frowned. "Why do you ask? Do I seem not okay to you?" He narrowed his eyes.

"Well . . . no but-"

"Wanna see somebody who not okay? Check yo girlfriend slash daughter. She came into class with Jesy and Perrie and that bih wasn't even smiling. When they brought her to her seat she just rest her head down like she sick. I asked her if she got her period and she told me 'no Prodigy leave me alone' and I was like 'okay you don't like me no more iss cool, iss cool' and I went here to come hang with ma bros but they was making fun o' me so like . . " Prodigy sounded hurt but was trying to hide it.
