Like many great events, Jimin's welcome party only truly began an hour after it was supposed to start.

"Let's get this party started!" Someone shouted before opening a can of beer on top of a table in the middle of Perrie's room. It fizzled and popped then spilled everywhere before he chugged it down. Everyone cheered after his declaration. It seemed that that was a signal to kick everything into high gear . . .

The party couldn't possibly take place in just Perrie's room so many guests were gathered outside or around the staircase leading to that floor. Basically, the party was on the floor that Perrie's room was on.

Music pulsed through the room and the beat could be heard across the entire floor. Some younger students wanted to join in but Jesy had gotten some big guys in their year to prevent them from getting involved. They also had someone on look out for if any guards would come by. The guards usually remained outside. They were good at their jobs but they had their 'slack off' moments. It was usually on a Friday . . . today was Friday so there was very little chance of a guard surveying all of the floors like they were supposed to after lights out. Most likely, those guys were outside having a drink over a card game. Who could blame them though? Everyone needed to have a bit of fun every once in a while. They seemed to have perfect timing to show up when the end of party fight started though. It was like they expected it even though parties weren't even allowed . . .

Jade was standing in the corner of Perrie's room with Jin and Princeton, holding a drink in hand. Perrie had turned her bed onto its side and leaned up against a wall so there could be more space. Her dresser and working desk were pushed up in a corner as well. The room looked a lot bigger this way. The lights were off and there was a special disco ball hanging from the ceiling which allowed purple, red and blue light to flicker around.

"See your guy yet Jade? Somebody you were willing to drop one of your most loyal counterparts to get on your side?" Princeton asked her. He wore a fitted grey sweater and a choker necklace tonight. That as well as some jeans and sneakers. Nothing too fancy.

Jade groaned. "I see him but people keep surrounding him so it's hard for me to approach. I need him to be alone."

Jin was seething as he watched how people fawned over the new guy who seemed slightly uncomfortable. He was being charming though. That and handsome. Was the guy always that hot? Since when did he have muscles? I have muscles. He thought self-consciously. He was wearing a white dress top which hung over some black jeans. On his feet were expensive fancy shoes. "He has become quite the popular one hasn't he?"

"Seems so." Jade hated this. Was there a way that she could get people turned off from him so she could take him and use him for what she wanted or what?

"Jade why do you even wanna escape? We're graduating next year. Live up. Have some fun enjoy the rest of your time here-" Prince was saying to her.

"Ah shut it! It's not necessarily about me leaving this dump which I don't belong in but also about me proving my intelligence." Jade nodded.

Prince and Jin looked at each other with arched brows.

"Then why do you want help? Won't you seem incapable if you needed help?" Jin asked her.

"No, no. Of course I'd be the main brains behind the operations. I'd just like a fresher intelligent mind on the case. Plus, once we're done the two of us could go on to be great partners in crime- I mean . . . business partners. Yes. I can see him as a good partner in life as well." Jade was telling them while keeping her eyes on the guy.

Jin found her extremely strange. "How exactly does your brain work Jade?"

Jade didn't hear him. She noticed Jesy leaving a group of thirsty guys who had been dancing all over her to go to where Jimin leaned against a wall to talk to some girls. He was actually with Taehyung. That dumb guy that Leigh-Anne liked for some reason. She's an idiot.
