A whistle blew and filled the air with its high frequency.
Hoseok screamed and covered his ears by it.
"It is okay friend. The whistle cannot hurt you." Jungkook patted his back.
Ray stood close to him and rolled his eyes. That kid would forever be weird. But not as weird as . . . He looked down with a cringe at the Yoongi fella who insisted on being close to him these days. I'd report it but I dunno . . . The guy was soft. Like a little cat. But he'd never say that out loud.
Today was the last day of September. A full month of school had passed and Jimin couldn't believe it. He had expected a month here to drive him nuts but it seemed to have just given him a lot more friends and interesting people to keep in contact with. "I believe that he screamed because the whistle was loud to him. Hoseok is probably sensitive to that sort of thing Jungkook." Jimin explained. Right now they were in gym class with the other senior boys. Today it seemed they would be doing volleyball.
"Catch!" The coach tossed the ball to Hoseok just because he had screamed earlier.
Hoseok got hit in the stomach and bent over by it.
Now the coach was chuckling. "Gotta work on that."
Jungkook frowned at him. "You are mean to my friend. Jesy-sus will have you fired soon!" He snapped.
Prince shook his head. "Relax. We all know that coach Johnson can be a jerk sometimes." He folded his arms.
Coach Johnson laughed at them while picking up another ball from his net of balls. They were in the basketball gym at their school for this class. The senior girls were in another gymnasium on a different floor. The school was pretty large so there were several of those. "Okay so you guys know what type of balls these are so I don't need to tell you what we're gonna be doing." He tossed the ball up and down in his hand before smirking. "Today we're all gonna pair up and practice our passes for Volleyball okay? Did everyone watch the videos I sent?"
"No." Most guys said.
Coach Johnson groaned. "Alright, alright." He called one of the other students to come stand at a distance from him so that he could demonstrate the different ways to send a ball during such a game.
They all watched so they would know what to do later . . . well most of them did. Some others were distracted of course.
"So now it's your turn." Coach Johnson stopped and started tossing balls at some of them. "Pick your teams boys." He blew his whistle then went to the bleachers to sit and read a magazine featuring naked women.
Prodigy groaned since he didn't like gym. "Anyway, come on Roc." He had been tossed a ball so he held one in his hand. He faced his friend who stood close to him only to see that Roc was walking away from him to approach someone else. Someone Prod didn't like. Wai' minute . . . His eyes narrowed instantly.
Jimin bounced his ball around his hands as he looked for a partner- no he actually didn't have to look because several people from his class were now in his face. "Oh . . . hi guys."
"Jimin we can be partners." Taehyung said with a smile. They were pretty close by now so it only made sense. Why are our other friends from class here?
"Jimin me and you should maybe . . ." Roc heard Tae and frowned at him. He his friend for real so Jimin might pick him. He didn't like this. He felt that he and Jimin got closer every time he tutored him. Yeah so I'm Jimin's bestie right?
"Be our partner!" Jungkook said with his hand in Hoseok's. He was grinning at one of his best friends.
"Our partner." Hoseok wore a small smile.
