"Who's idea was this again?" Ray asked at lunch time. The kids sat at one side of the table while their parents were at the other. They were in the dining hall as they had planned. It was currently swarming with students and parents. It was lunch time. Yeah only lunch time and I'm already exhausted with this whole day. He was happy for the positive attention they had received for their dance but having all of their parents around was kind of beginning to get tiring. Especially since he found some people's parents a little on the . . . condescending side.

Jin and his mom were laughing and no one knew why. Jin's classy behaviour seemed to be back and turned up ten fold. He had a hand up in a classy fashion as they kept laughing. Everyone could see where Jin had gotten those strange habits from. What they wanted to know was why he was sent here when it seemed as if his mother clearly condoned his behaviour.

"I believe that it was mine." Said Jin's mom. Her name was Jinae. Maybe she named her son after her . . . She smiled while stirring her glass of wine. Alcoholic beverages were not allowed on compound but she had brought her own bottle which she had used to pour drinks for the parents. Jin had tried to tell her that such drinks were prohibited but she had not seemed to care. "Look at how much fun we are having. We're all getting to know each other. I feel as if we're family. Tell them to cancel that meeting with the teacher. We're all already so close." She raised her glass with a smile.

Prodigy's mom did not seem so amused with what Jin's mom said. Her name was Carla. "I'm pretty sure that I was the one who-"

"Baby it's probably best if you don't say anything." Prodigy's dad told her gently.

Prodigy was suddenly laughing with Jin and his mom. "Yeah erbody's real close ain't they? No need to get Alex involved!" He was sweating because he was sure that Alex would tell his parents and all the other parents that he had been going nuts all semester. No. He looked where Jimin sat. It's his fault. Even though we friends now. He bit his lip.

"But we all basically just sat down to eat. We haven't really had the chance to get close yet." Taehyung said in confusion. Their class was no longer wearing their performance outfits but were back in their school sweaters.

"Yes and it's probably not wise to try to force friendships which could possibly be impossible to form." Jade's mother widened her eyes at her daughter in a way. It could pass for a fond look but the way that she did it said otherwise.

Jade narrowed her eyes. She's taunting me. "Why don't we talk about all of our time at the school so far this year? Jimin. You should start. Tell our parents how close we've all gotten." She couldn't help but grind her teeth and it was beginning to hurt.

Jimin felt all eyes fall on him. "Um . . ." He had to admit that having everyone's parents here was kind of discomforting. Some of his classmates were acting different with their folks around. Jin seems to have fallen back into his classy obsession and Jade seems generally on edge. He looked at each person when he thought of them. He stopped on Taehyung. Taehyung is okay . . . He kept surveying. Jesy seems a lot more cheery. She is smiling at her mother as I think. It was so weird. Did they just have a good relationship or was Jesy fooling her mom into believing that she was an angel? Her mother does not seem that naive to me though. There was something about Jesy's mother that made Jimin feel as if she knew a lot . . . What if she is in on Jesy's- I need to stop with the conspiracies when it comes to her.

He continued looking at his classmates. Perrie is quieter and more sweet tempered. She and her mother tend to have soft conversations here and there and I have seen Perrie acting extra helpful with her. He saw the girl picking up a napkin from the centre table to hand to her mom who sat across from her. Her mother seems to appreciate it but I wonder why they have that relationship. He looked to Jungkook and saw that the boy was fidgety and silent. He is a lot more quiet. He seemed to have so much to say about them but now that they are here . . . Hoseok seems quieter as well. Jimin found that Hoseok's mother had been sweet with him so far but the boy's father had been acting kind of stiff and stern. He observed how the man kept a straight face right now, even while Prodigy's mom was starting to strike up conversation with his wife. Namjoon seems the same. Namjoon's mom seemed nice but his father was a lot like Hoseok's, pretty stiff. I suppose the same could be said about my own father at times. His own father wore a stern face right now . . . but it was not as stern as Hoseok's and Namjoon's fathers' faces. Jimin's dad seemed more neutral. But it could be the culture shock which has got him this way.
