The next four months went by so quickly and I was nearing my due date, which was scaring me so bad. I was excited to have a son, but what scared me was that I didn't know what to do about Nate. Rickey still wasn't home yet so I kept myself busy by creating and recreating my baby's room. Although I had had four months, I still hadn't chosen a name for my baby boy as I thought that I would know his name as soon as I saw him. It was currently a week prior to my boy's due date and the only person who knew about it was my mum, she had promised not to tell anyone, not even dad which I was grateful for. Although I know for sure that it has been spread through social media but I don't think anyone would recognise me. Because I had been spending so much time with Nash magazines had assumed that I was Nash's 'hidden girlfriend' that was carrying his child, which made us laugh each time we even saw one of the magazine titles. Seeing as though Nash and I had spent so much time together he was now my absolute best friend, I mean apart from Rickey of course. I missed everyone a lot yesterday, it was weird having a birthday without them. Breaking me from my pointless thoughts, a tight pain shoots through me and water runs down my legs, shit! I quickly dial Nash's number and tell him to hurry up, muttering a few choice words. 5 long minutes later he bursts into the nursery to find me clutching my stomach as I lie on the floor. He rushes into action and picks up my Sportsgirl bag and carries me bridal style down to his car. I sit in the passenger seat and double over as another contraction shoots through me. Almost seconds later I am once again in Nash's arms and he carries me into the emergency entrance, only for me to be placed on a trolley bed and pushed into a private room. The nurses plug me into machines and wrap things around me as each contraction comes, each stronger than the last. My doctor comes in, in her scrubs and she puts her gloves on as she sits in a chair and brings it towards me.

After a painful 6 and a half hours my baby boys is finally born. His soft cries immediately filling the room. The doctor cleans him and wraps him in a blanket before placing him softly in my arms. His chocolatey brown eyes immediately focus on my tired eyes and I smile at my baby, and instantly know his name.

"What would you like to name your son?" one of the many nurses asks, preparing to write something on a clip board

"Cayden James Maloley" I tell her smiling at my baby, unable to draw my eyes away from him. The nurse also asks for mother and fathers name and so I tell her mine and Nate's, I mean that is his dad. Anyway I'm not going to let him ruin my special day. Another nurse enters the room and helps me to figure out how to feed him. I let him feed and then rub his back lightly when he finishes to get rid of any burp bubbles. Just as I go to put him in the plastic crib, provided by the hospital, Nash walks in with a bunch of balloons, each saying it's a boy. I smile lightly and give him a delicate hug as Cayden is still in my arms.

Seeing as though I had a natural birth, without an epidural (no shit), I was allowed to leave with Cayden the next day. As he slept in his car seat, I packed the small amount of clothes and diapers I had for him into his diaper bag and threw the strap over my shoulder, walking towards Cayden. As I walked out of my room and towards Nash's car in the parking lot, I glance down at Cayden and take in his cute outfit, white and blue onesie with the illusion of overalls and his white beanie and white pacifier.

The car ride back to my house was silent, as we didn't want to wake up Cayden who was peacefully sleeping next to me. We pull into my drive way and I quietly get out of the car and walk around to Cayden's door and gently pick him up out of his car seat, resting his small head against my collar bone as I hold my arm under his small bum and legs. Nash runs to the door and opens it for me. Slowly rocking my baby as I walk up, I make my way up the stairs and towards Cayden's room. I open the pale blue door and place him in his white crib and place his teddy that my mum bought, next to him. Nash comes up behind me and pulls me out of the room and into the living room, throwing me onto the couch as I laugh.

"I bid you farewell, my fair maiden" he bows

"Ye, ye. You can leave now" I sass as I push him out the door. I give him a hug and he turns to get into his car. The sudden urge to sleep crashes over my body, and I grab the baby monitor and bring it up to my room with me. Turning the volume on the monitor all the way up, I set it on my bedside table and smile at the fetus picture of Cayden, before cuddling into my sheets.
