Chapter 21

I wake up with a stiff back and look down to see Cayden cuddled into Nate's chest with his messy curls covering his forehead. I carry Cay back to his room so that he can sleep for longer and put him in his crib, before walking back to my room and getting ready for the day and changing into one of Nate's old sweatshirts that still smelt of his cologne making me weak at the knees. Not bothering on trying to look decent, I messily pull my long hair into a ponytail and carefully wake up Kaiya and feed, change her and bring her downstairs with me. Nate sits on the couch watching something I can't even identify, and yes that is how tired I am right now so hush.

"Hey Lil Mamma" He greets kissing my lips lightly as I sit down next to him "This one looks like you" He smiles nudging my shoulder

"Do you think she'll be a mummy's girl or a daddy's girl?" I ask curiously

"She ain't being no one's daddy's girl til I'm dead" He answers seriously and I nudge his shoulder

"But what do you think though?" I ask wondering about her future and what she might like or what sort of music she will listen to, or what sort of books and let's just pray to god right now that she's nothing like me. AT ALL!

"Not sure, because Cayden is definitely a mummy's boy, but hmmm. I guess we will have to wait and see" I nod and cuddle into his chest as he watches his show. Kaiya's breathing gets softer and I can instantly tell that she is in a deep sleep and will probably be out for the next couple of hours at least, being exactly like her brother and sleeping constantly. Carefully walking towards her room, I notice the baby pictures I have of Cayden on the wall and make a mental note to get some of Kaiya, and place her in her pink crib, quietly leaving her palace of a room. As I enjoy the peace and quiet of the kids being a sleep I walk downstairs and go up behind Nate, hugging him from behind as he sits on the couch

"Whatcha doing Lil Mamma?" He asks turning to give me a kiss

"Taking a bath" I say excitedly, coz yea when you have two kids a bath gets pretty damn exciting. He laughs slightly and I turn and run up the stairs "You coming?!" I whisper yell so as not to wake the kids. I hear the screech of the couch moving and take that as a yes as I continue on my way up the stairs. Even though it may seem like a bath to you, where you basically sit in a pool of water, well NO ya thought wrong. It is a magical pool of liquid releasing all stress and making your skin all tingly and turning yourself into a prune as you give yourself a fluffy white beard or really hairy armpits with the magical clouds that float on the surface of the water, so no it is not just a BATH! Thank you very much. I run the hot water and eagerly strip from my clothes and pull a towel around me as I stand in the cold, waiting for my damn magical pool to fill. Inch by inch the water level increases and I eagerly pour a large amount of bubble bath into the pouring water as Nate laughs behind me, sitting on the marble bench. As I reach over to turn the tap off, Nate slides his arms around my waist making me squeal and drop my towel, he lifts me carefully and places me into the warm bath, sliding in behind me.

It's officially the week before Christmas and I have turned into a complete child. The house has been fully decorated, inside and out. Fairy lights and fake reindeers and Santa's out the front and tinsel and red and green filling the inside of the house. Nate and I have got all of the presents sorted and hidden in the attic so that the kids can't find them. But I still don't know what to get Nate, so I decided to call Kami

(K: Kami D: Dakota)

D: Hey Kami! How are you?

K: Doing good. How about you? Are the kids excited for Christmas?

D: The kids are definitely excited. But I don't know what to get Nate

K: Hmmm. He was always the tough one to get presents for
