It was finally the Lunching Hour. Alex and Zain felt rather hungry after an exceptionally long day. They felt the sweat and stiffness over their bodies. They saw tables of food where the campers were in line taking turns to grab their food. Alex could smell that there was chicken on the table; Zain thought it was roast beef. Alex and Zain were very excited to fill their empty stomachs.

As they reached the table, the meat they smiled at was gammon. It smelled even better as they were about to reach it. The Feeders were opposite the tables serving the food in trays like a cafeteria.

It was Alex and Zain's turn to pick up their food. They were about to pick up the gammon first.

"No!" One of the Feeders slapped Alex on the hand. "The meat is only for the third-years. The first years only have a selection of vegetables."

On the left side of the meat were filled with vegetables that weren't pleasing to Alex and Zain's appetite. They had cabbages and broccoli and rustle sprouts, with gherkins and coconuts.

"You have GOT to be kidding me!" Alex thought.

Alex and Zain sat by the campfire spot.

"I wish I wasn't hungry anymore," Alex complained.

"How is this going to fill us up?" Zain replied, "I might as well eat celery than this."

"Speaking of celery," Alex continued, "There was celery over there."

"I know!" Zain exclaimed. "Well... I guess it's a matter of status of which year we are in. We have to survive two years to get a stupid piece of meat."

They sighed.

Alex turned his head slowly to Zain and looked at him with a little smirk.

"Oh God!" Zain reacted, "I know that look. If you are suggesting that we steal that meat I swear to God, we might as well be dead as that meat!"

"So?" Alex nodded his shoulders.

"Why do you always have a suicide mission? Do you want to be on the dinner table?"

"Well unlike you, I am not afraid of being on top of the food chain." Alex got up and purposefully walked back to the tables.

"Yes, I am afraid to be on top of the food chain!" Zain yelled out to Alex but was ignored. "For good reason!" Zain growled and got up to follow Alex.

Zain caught up with Alex as he was hiding at the corner of the tent. Alex took a couple of peddles from the ground.

"Please don't tell me you plan to hit them," Zain whispered. His neck began to tense.

"No," Alex replied with a little giggle.

Alex threw one peddle and hit a pole.

"What was that?" One of the Feeders experienced whiplash.

"What was what?" The Feeder next to him asked.

"That sound," The Feeders looked at him like he was crazy. The Feeder seemed to feel rather embarrassed.

Alex threw another peddle and hit a table behind them.

"That sound!" It sounds like something being thrown at us."

"Let's check it out. I think it was coming from the back," the Feeder on the right said.

The Feeders turned back and drew their weapons with caution, "I hope there isn't a monster on the loose."

Alex and Zain sneaked into the tent and grabbed as much gammon as they could. All the campers have been served so that might as well take all of it.

Until they heard someone from behind them, "I can see you must be hungry."

Alex and Zain got a fright. They slowly turned back and noticed that it was Alberron.

"So apparently, we don't serve you enough food," Alberron was subtle was his arms behind his back, "At least, not enough to serve your satisfaction." He gave them an intense gaze.

Alex and Zain froze with intimidation. They couldn't open their mouths nor speak a single word. Their bodies were so rigid.

"You are sentenced to the Demising Grounds for two days starting now!"
