Chapter 18

It was the next morning. Alex was busy training with Alberron filled with lifelessness in his face.

"ROTHMAN!!!" Alberron slapped Alex in the face. "You are very distracted today," He grabbed Alex's face with his cheeks getting squashed. "Rorgoth is not going to play fair; so stop staring at that godforsaken door and start concentrating."

Alex skipped lunch to find Zain; for he seems to have disappeared out of sight. It was obvious to Alex that Zain was avoiding him. Alex stopped and approached Natalie by the tepee camp sight. "Hey Natalie, have you seen Zain?!"

"No I haven't except this morning before first period."

"WELL WHERE IS HE?!!!" Alex snapped.

"He doesn't want to be seen by anybody Alex; especially after last night."

"I know but I need to talk to him. I don't want to lose him over this. This is all my fault."

"Well the only one who seems to be at fault here is Lucas."

"What? How does he know?"

"He was snooping around and caught you and Zain last night and spread the word to the whole camp this morning that he is gay and in love with you. Zain has been hiding ever since then. He didn't even show up to any of the classes before now."

Alex dropped on the log with his palms in his face.

"I'm sorry Alex." Natalie was rubbing his back. "But I think he needs space. He has been humiliated enough already."

"Lucas is gonna get a piece of my mind!" Alex got up and fast walked without hesitation.

Lucas was eating his vegetables with Chuck and Khan, giggling.

"YOU POISONOUS SON OF A BITCH!!!" Alex approached Lucas and punched him in the face. "Not only did you humiliate Zain but you took away my best friend!"

"Why? You want a smooch?!"

Alex attacked him again and Chuck and Khan pushed him to the ground. Chuck and Khan were standing on Alex's arms and Lucas went on top of him and kept punching him in the face.

"LUCAS STOP!!!" Natalie came whilst everyone was surrounding them screaming, "Fight fight fight!"

Alex kicked Lucas at the back of his head and rolled away feeling pain in his shoulder blades. His fists were gripping and he ran towards Lucas screaming.

Alex and Lucas kept dodging each other again and again and punching each other on the ribs, chest, and face.

Natalie kept screaming but no one was listening to her.

Blood was spreading around their faces. Lucas started to feel like he may have a broken rib.

Alex and Lucas tried to do a jump turn and kick each other in the air but they both hit each other's legs simultaneously and fell hard to the ground, bumping their heads hard and were moaning in pain.

They got up and attempted to continue; until Barlows approached to the scene and everyone evacuated.

"My office!"
