Alex and Lucas entered Barlows's office that was dark and cold. The desertedness felt rather creepy for Lucas. The only light flaring was a candle on a desk. The dagger was right on the desk unguarded. Alex and Lucas became very curious as to why retrieving the dagger was that easy. Was it planted there? It was as if the dagger was waiting to be taken.

The dagger's black handle had a graving of a skull in the end. The small blade had an infinity sign on its centre.

Alex and Lucas didn't think it mattered anymore. So Alex got the dagger and they exited the office.

"What's next?" Lucas asked as they were pacing to the forbidden side of the island.

"The hag said that we need to travel to a temple to retrieve some goblet. After that we head to the Rumbling Mountain where we unite these three items and use them to resurrect Zain."

"This is a suicide mission!" Lucas exclaimed. Alex hushed him.

"Just where do you two think you're going?" The voice startled them. It was Natalie.

"Uuuuuummmmm," The boys remained speechless.

"That's right! Can't find your way out of this one," Natalie rolled her eyes then sighed, "Seriously guys what are you doing?"

"It's nothing you should worry about," Alex replied.

"Worry?! You are up in the middle of the night so you can go somewhere to do some stupid mischievous thing!"

"So? What they don't know won't hurt them," Lucas said.

"You boys can't even think of a lie and it is so obvious you are going to do something crazy; like that's gonna save your sorry asses." Natalie sighed and thought, "'Boys.' Just tell me!" Natalie was losing her patience.

"Okay fine!" Alex gave up, "We are retrieving three items that have the power to resurrect the dead and we are going to use them to bring back Zain."

"WHAT!!!" Natalie screamed. The boys hushed her. "Do you realize how stupid this is Alex? You are messing around with something that shouldn't be messed with. The balance of life and death could be broken. I know you want Zain back but these things always come at a price."

"No! There is always a way for anything and this is the way. Zain deserves to have a second chance in life after what he did for me back on that plane. You are either with me or against me. Which one is it Natalie?"

"I just don't want anything bad to happen. Not every opportunity should be taken."

"It won't. Trust me it won't." Alex begged.

Natalie took a moment and made a small nod for yes.

The three went across the fence and ran off into the night.
