"Hello Alex," Barlows spoke, "I thought you would survive the trap behind you. I'm sure you must be confused. I'm not really here; I'm just an illusion carrying a message that is meant for you to hear. You have every right to know the truth; but I warn you, the truth isn't going to be what you would be hoping for. Everyone knows why we train on this island, but no one knows what really happened behind it all. I've kept many secrets to protect you and the Three Cities; but the time has come to reveal them all:

I was voyaging across the Forbidden Seas; seas where no one dare to travel. I wasn't alone; I travelled with my companion who we all know to be Rorgoth Everost. A storm approached us until we were shipwrecked on an unknown island. As we were wondering through the mysterious jungles, we saw life humanity would never have seen before. We were lost into the island's beauty that we decided to make it home for us.

One day, Rorgoth discovered a village burnt to the ground. He saw a traumatised maiden who was the only survivor; he fell in love at first sight.

I married them on the beach with a beautiful sunset beyond the horizon. We all lived harmoniously; but it wasn't meant to last.

I made a terrible mistake; a mistake that didn't just change us but the whole world. I was studying how to concoct potions; the one I was learning to produce was a healing potion. I left it unattended. The maiden assumed it to be just an ordinary drink; so she took a drink and she was slowly dying. Rorgoth found her choking for her life until she finally died in his arms. I was responsible; I'm the one who took away everything from Rorgoth.

Rorgoth couldn't help but feel haunted by the maiden's death. I broke his trust. I shouldn't have left the potion unattended; that mistake led to Rorgoth travelling to the Rumbling Mountain to jump into the fires and die. I couldn't bear what I did. I decided to design a boat and sail it to the Silver City.

Years have passed and all was well. I made a life for myself; a wife and a baby boy. We were at peace until we were interrupted by a dark figure; it was Rorgoth in the flesh. He carried dark magic to turn against me.

When Rorgoth fell into the fires of the mountain, he thought he was killing himself; but instead, he found himself in the Wraith World. The Wraith King granted him the magic and a life back on earth.

The Silver City was under attack. I fought Rorgoth and stabbed him with the dagger you carry Alex. The dagger has the power to send the victim to the Wraith World. Rorgoth remained trapped in that world; but before I cast him out of this world, he prophesised that he will one day return and destroy all that I hold dear.

I had to make sure it didn't happen. I wanted to save the Three Cities from the Wrath of Rorgoth. I forged a camp on the island and called it the Immunity Island. That was when all the Three Cities had to learn how to survive through the trials of great peril.

Rorgoth is on the move. You must lead the Cities to the brink of peace. For you are the one who carries my name. That's right my son. You are mine.

Back on the Silver City, I had to leave you and your mother to protect you. I told your mother to take you somewhere well no one will know who you really are; that was when she left you in the care of the Kenilworths. I unfortunately have no idea where your mother went after that; for no one had ever seen her again since that night. I was hoping that when you come of age to train here on this island, I could reunite with you; so I can be the father for you I never got to be.

I was that stranger who gave you the three Resurrecters. I gave you the skull and set the dagger in my office for you to take and set you out to retrieve the goblet. I knew that these items would come to your aid.

Everything I did was for the good of this world. Now that you wield the Immunity Sword; hope has risen."

A door automatically opened.

"I love you son. I believe in you." Barlows disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
