The time had finally come for the first task. Everyone walked excitedly to where it was located. There was a large arena almost the size the of quidditch fields if not larger. About a quarter of the arena had descending rows for standing. In the middle was a rocky landscape with several places to hide and also stand on for a better view.

At the very center of it all, was a golden egg. My heart sank as the images came back in my head. I stumbled a bit as we walked to our spot.

"Woah, Aroura are you all right?" It was Crabbe who asked me.

"Yes. Fine thank you." I said straightening myself out.

Once everyone had filled into the stands, Dumbledore had started to speak, using his wand to make his voice louder.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the first task of our Triwizard tournament. As you have probably noticed, there is a golden egg in the center of the arena. Each champion has the task of retrieving that egg, but there is a catch. Each one shall also select a dragon at random. Each of these dragons are to protect their egg from the champions." Everyone gasped and cheered as we waited.

"Bet Potter regrets entering now, doesn't he." Draco spat.

I looked at him and just shook my head. It's almost as if he doesn't even believe that he was put in involuntarily.

We all waited in anticipation for the first champion to start the task. Most of the crowd had died down as hundreds of sets of eyes watched the entrance of the ring carefully.

A dragon was put into the arena and was chained down so it couldn't escape. They had put it to sleep to make transporting it easier, and was stunned a few times to wake again. I looked at the dragon wide eyed, it looked different than the one I saw in the visions. This one was much less intense and had different scales than the one I saw.

We waited until a canon went off abruptly, startling the dragon and most of the crowd. It seemed to have been set off too soon, but they went forward with it and the first champion walked out. The first person was Viktor Krum. He swiftly cast a few hexes on the dragon and retrieved the egg. Next was Fleur Delacour who had barely managed to finish the task, but still made it. Up next was Cedric Diggory who was just as quick as Viktor had been.

Lastly, was the person we had all been waiting for. Harry Potter himself. Although everyone hated him, everyone was still excited to see what would happen to him. He walked out nervously and looked around at the crowd until the dragon had made itself noticeable. He happened to be going against the one I had seen, and by simply looking at it I knew it was the most dangerous of them all.

As he timidly tried to get the egg, the visions started to take place. The golden egg, the dragon, and worst of all, the dragon escaping.

Potter had managed to call his broom to him, which had then caused the dragon to break free. Instead of leading the dragon off and grabbing the egg, he seemed to run away from it.

The crowd went dead silent as we all watched him fly off towards the castle. I looked over at all of the professors and adults, but nobody seemed to do anything. They were too focused on the large hole where the dragons tail had went through the arena.

We all waited anxiously for an update. Whispers could be heard, but no one dared to speak any louder. We heard a few cries from the dragon echoing through the valley, but we couldn't see it. Then, after a few moments we heard a wisping noise. As it became louder, a small figure became more apparent. It was Potter.

He was barely holding onto his broom and part of it seemed to be burnt off, but he had managed to fly down and snatched the egg, holding it up triumphantly.
