The sound of the band playing cheerfully and everyone talking amongst themselves could be heard from hundreds of feet away. It was the final task, and we were all anxiously waiting to see who the Triwizard champion was going to be. At this point most people's bets were on either Harry Potter or Cedric Diggory. Fleur Delacour had lost all of her support, and Viktor Krum was simply being cheered on by those who still believed he had a chance.

The stands were separated by houses, professors, visitors, and the band at the very end. Multiple colors were being flown around, with the names of the champions on any sort of material possible. People were wearing shirts, hats, pants, scarfs, and anything else imaginable to show their support.

I was wearing both a little bit of yellow and red to show support for Potter and Diggory. I wasn't sure who would win, I cared more about the fact of whether or not they were from our school. I cheered as they all walked out, accompanied by their headmasters. All except for Diggory who was with his father, who seemed to be more excited about the situation than anyone else. He was simply proud that his son made it this far and had such a high chance of winning.

Dumbledore gave a quick speech before talking to the champions. Their expressions seemed to change the more he spoke. They looked more hesitant now as they walked up to their entrances. Moody walked out of the maze just in time, stopping in front of Potter. He seemed to make some sort of gesture to Potter before he turned to face the maze. Dumbledore began a countdown, but once again before he was finished the canon went off. The music began again and everyone started chanting the names of the four contestants.

We all sat down, preparing ourselves for the long, aching wait. The final entrance closed off after Fleur went in and everyone went silent. The silence seemed to linger for quite some time before people began to whisper. The whispers turned into normal conversations in only a matter of seconds after that. People got up and began to move around. Nobody dared to go outside of the area though, in fear of what may happen to them. After Crouch Sr. was killed everybody was a little more on edge about the tournament.

After almost two hours, a red spark flew up deep withing the maze. At first it was announced that Harry Potter had cast it, but when they went to investigate, it was Fleur who was actually in trouble. She was once again disqualified for not finishing the task, leaving beaux batons with nothing but disappointment.

The sky began to get darker, and nothing else eventful had happened. Obviously nothing had gone wrong since no other sparks were sent up, but something still felt off. Everyone was now sitting down again in hopes that the champions would soon come out. Yet still nothing happened.

It was now dark and cold. A breeze came over and people began putting more layers on. I looked out at the dark bushes with lines, observing how it disappeared into the dark the further it got. I continued to look and suddenly saw a blue flash. I looked around, and it didn't seem like anyone else had noticed it. My hopes rose, thinking that maybe that meant that they had found the cup. To my dismay though, nothing happened.

I sighed, looking around at everyone else. As I looked my vision grew blurry and my head began aching. I stood up, trying to walk over to the stairs and walk away from the noise. I got a few steps down when my ears began to ring. I put my hands up to my head and walked down, trying to focus on the blurry figures I could make out. When I got to the bottom, I ran over to behind the stands where there was nobody.

I crouched down and hissed in pain as the pressure in my head got worse. The ringing also got worse, until it stopped. A flash of green flooded my vision and soon after a boy had fallen to the ground. It was Diggory, his eyes were glossy, looking forward into nothingness. It was exactly how I had seen it the first time. Suddenly more flashes ran through, I could see graves, a cauldron, people surrounding the cauldron and one specific stone in a circle.
