"Draco, we need to talk." I demanded as I sat down next to Blaise.
Draco, Pansy, and Blaise were all sitting in the Slytherin train car together. Pansy was sitting next to Draco, while up until now Blaise was by himself.
"Talk? Talk about what?" Pansy questioned.
"Nothing. Aroura's being ridiculou-" Before he could finish the entire car went dark.
"The bloody hell was that?" I yelled.
Everyone else had began yelling too and many had stood up in the middle, including Draco. Once the fog cleared up everyone started to settle down. Draco though was still standing and seemed rather rigid.
"It was probably just some first years messing around. Come on Draco we'll be at Hogwarts soon." Pansy shrugged.
Reluctantly he sat down.
"Hogwarts. What a pathetic excuse for a school. I think I'd rather pitch myself off of the astronomy tower before I continue another year here." Draco spat.
Blaise laughed and everyone's eyes directed towards him.
"Do you think it's funny?" I scoffed.
Silence.
"We'll just see who's laughing in the end." Draco retorted.
"What is with you guys today?" Pansy scoffed.
"Let's just say we won't be wasting our time in charms class next year." Draco responded.
I chose to stay quiet. If I said too much it may give too much away. Since I wasn't even sure if Draco and I were on the same page, I chose to stay extra cautious. We hadn't had a chance to talk since our assignment was given, and I was growing more and more worried. I felt as though I had the worst possible case of stage fright. If I was being honest jumping off of the astronomy tower didn't sound like such a bad plan.
Although 'soon' wasn't the right word, we made it to Hogwarts only an hour after the incident. Everyone had gotten off quickly, with our group being the last to get off. I got up while Blaise and Pansy followed suit. After we got to the door, we looked back to see that Draco was still sitting down.
"You all go ahead, I'll meet you there soon." He told us.
Maybe this was my chance to talk to him.
I scooted off to the side into a booth and waited for the other two to walk out. After that I shut the door and suddenly the blinds shut as well. I turned around to see Draco putting his finger up to his mouth, motioning for me to be quiet. I looked at him confused until suddenly he began to speak.
"Didn't mummy ever tell you it was rude to eavesdrop Potter." He looked up.
Potter? He wasn't in here, was he?
"Petrificus Totalus" Draco cast the spell into the rafters above and something made a large sound, breaking one of the tables as it did so.
I looked down at the ground and then up at Draco.
"Oh yeah" He then pulled off a blanket of some sort and suddenly Harry Potter appeared "She was dead before you could wipe the drool off your face."
He used his invisibility cloak to get in here. He must have been the one who caused the cart to go dark too.
"Draco, what are you doing?" I whispered.
He looked up at me and then back at Potter who was lying still with a blank expression. He stared at Potter for a few more seconds before stomping on his face. When his foot bounced back, Potter's nose was crooked and blood was coming out.
