"What's going to happen?" I demanded as I watched Matteo stop in his tracks after leaving the common room.
"Happen to what?" He asked.
"To us. Me, Draco, you. What's going to happen this summer." I was leaning on the wall with my arms crossed and he was standing just a few feet away from me.
"Nothing, I don't know what you're talking about." He responded before walking away.
"No. I don't believe you. You should know everything, somethings going to happen." I scoffed while chasing after him.
"And what makes you say that? Has the Prophet sucked you in too?" He taunted.
"What makes me say that is because I talked to Draco earlier." That was enough to get him to stop.
We were just a few steps away from the top of the stairs near the great hall. Nobody else was around except a few Slytherins walking in and out of the dungeons.
"What did he say?" He looked on edge.
"Nothing, but just based off how he said it I figured it out." I explained.
"You should really learn to mind your business." He remarked.
What? Why would he say that? What's wrong with him? Obviously something's going on if he's acting like this.
"Mind my own business? I think this happens to be my business because whatever happens to Draco is just as likely to happen to me." I scoffed as I ran up to the final step in front of him.
"You really think he would treat you the same as Malfoy?" Matteo questioned.
"I think he'd do whatever it takes to get what he wants." I shrugged.
"Don't worry, you're the least of his problems."
"So you do know. Why won't you tell me? Why won't you- you-"
Suddenly my vision began to blur. I began to feel myself falling back, so I slowly sat down trying to focus on what was happening. I could hear Matteo's voice, but it was faint and like he was getting further away. Suddenly I felt someone grip my shoulders and everything turned to black. A bridge showed up and began flashing between it standing and being destroyed. Black figures of mist swirled around it as it twisted and fell into the water.
Then one of the figures came towards me as though it was trying to consume me. I couldn't look, but the faces of death eaters then began to flash in between them with and without a mask, my father included. After that we landed in a hall where there was a man who look terrified. Lucius Malfoy, my father and another man were all surrounding him with their wands. They were all saying different things, but I couldn't make it out.
Then came a bunch of women whispering, all looking paranoid while doing so. They were the wives, my mother, Draco's mother, Blaise's mother, and many others. Some had tears in their eyes while the others were trying to consolidate them. After that another woman appeared, along with a man next to her. He was tall and skinny with a scruffy beard while she was shorter and a bit wider. The woman began to speak, but in a language I didn't understand. After she spoke, the man then looked at me.
"Save him." He began "Release him from the shadows."
The woman began to cry hysterically before a green flash appeared and they were gone. Everything was gone. All that was left was a room with only a few people. The Dark Lord stood before us, Draco, Matteo and I with a large grin on his face. He laughed menacingly and the laugh became louder until the woman's cries, his laugh, and screaming had all jumbled into one. It got louder and I could feel myself in pain once again as though someone was casting the cruciatus. I couldn't take it and began screaming not know what to do, I felt helpless.
