I sat alone on the train ride home, watching the outside move back in one fast motion. I had given up on trying to fix anything, knowing that if I did every word that I'd say would be a lie. I didn't want to make up with anybody, it seemed like a waste of time. I could tell that Draco is more sensitive than he would like to admit and Pansy only cares about herself.

It seemed to be a common trend, every house had their own quirks and personalities. It amazed me that it only took four houses to define the students so well. Each person in a house fit the stereotype, whether they knew it or not. It made me wonder why I was chosen for Slytherin even if I'm not as 'determined' and stuck up as they are. Oddly enough, I didn't feel like I fit into any house. It could have possibly been because I went to a different school, or I'm just not meant to be at this one.

When the train stopped, I waited a few moments for the others to clear through before going out. I walked over to where I was told to meet my parents, but didn't see them anywhere. After a while I found a spot to sit down at and wait. Slowly the number of students left started to go down, not that there were many to begin with. Most of the students stayed for the holidays this year because of the tournament. I wanted to stay, but I also wanted answers and I was going to get them one way or another.

"Miss Hawthorne, we've been waiting for you." Lucius said as he walked up to me, slightly impatient.

I looked at him confused and looked around to see if my parents were here, but there was still no sight of them. I could only see a carriage with someone in it, it must have been Draco.

"I apologize, but am I supposed to go with you?" I asked.

"Yes, did you not get a letter? You're parents are on holiday for the week. They won't be back until next Sunday." He said.

"Oh, no I didn't get anything." I sighed.

He nodded and walked off. I stood up and realized that I was supposed to follow. The driver opened the door to let us in and I got in first, Lucius following behind. The door closed and a few moments later we had gone off. I didn't pay any mind to what was going on outside, only the fact that I was sitting next to the person who at the moment, I disliked the most. I would have sat next to Lucius, but I figured it would be more awkward and less formal.

"You're parents have suggested that you stay with us for the holidays, to avoid any lonesomeness." Lucius said.

"I appreciate the offer, but I don't think that's necessary. Besides I believe my brother will be here too." I smiled politely.

"Please, we insist." Draco piped in.

I looked at him surprised and saw he seemed slightly surprised himself at what he said. I looked down and thought about it for a moment. I knew it would be awkward to be there with him, not to mention I wouldn't have anything to do either.

"Well all right, but I would like to stay here a few days and just settle down if that's alright. I can come over a day before Christmas eve?" I asked.

"We are more than happy to have you. Even for just a few days." Lucius smiled.

I smiled back before we hit the ground just before my house. The driver unloaded my things and took them to my door. I told him thank you and he got back to the carriage taking the Malfoys to their home. When I turned around, Erby was taking my things to my room. I walked inside and looked around, trying to find my brother, but he was nowhere in sight.

"Erby, have you seen Ryan anywhere?" I asked.

"No ma'am, Erby only knows he is travelling on his own. Master Ryan says he's with friends." He replied, not sounding very sure of himself.
