"Wake up," somebody whispered in my ear.

I slowly opened my eyes to find Dylan lying down on his side, looking at me.

I smiled at him- memories of how beautiful last night had been- flooding my mind.

"How long have you been awake?" I asked him, stretching my arms. When I did, the cover over me lowered down and exposed my breasts.

Dylan looked down and growled lowly when my naked chest came into view.

I moved my hands quickly, wanting to cover myself. My face felt warm, as I looked at Dylan whose eyes had darkened in that moment.

It made me happy that it was out of lust and not because he was angry.

"How do you feel?" Dylan asked me, his voice sounding strained as he spoke.

I let out a small laugh, finding his behavior adorable.

"A little sore, but I'm okay," I told him, wrapping my arms around his neck and bringing his lips onto mine.

His kiss was so soft and tender, I barely felt like he was touching me at all. The electricity running through my body from having him so close was amazing.

I felt like Dylan and I were one. We had finally mated.

I couldn't help but want him near me, to be touching me, to have him close. It was like if now that we had completed the mating process- I couldn't be away from Dylan.

I craved his touch. I craved his attention. I craved his Wolf.

The thought of all the things I wanted us to do, with only having him kiss me, created butterflies in my stomach.

Last night was the first night I had ever been with anyone, and Dylan couldn't have made it more perfect for me.

By the time we finally left the room, it was already well past midday. I didn't mind sleeping in, and Dylan didn't seem to care either.

I had prepared us plenty of food. After last night, it wasn't so much that I was hungry. I wanted to taste different foods, both sugary and salty.

Dylan seemed to be enjoying the meal. Every couple of seconds while we ate- Dylan would look up at me, smile mischievously, and then turn back to his food.

It wasn't necessary for him to say what he was thinking- I was having those same thoughts.

"I need to go do some rounds. The pack was expecting me bright and early today," Dylan said to me, looking regretful that he had to go.

"Stay. I'm sure you can take care of your pack stuff tomorrow. Just let me have this day," I pleaded him, pouting my lower lip as I did.

It seemed to be enough to make up his mind because he threw himself at me the moment I did so. After that he carried me over his shoulder and ran with me upstairs to our room.

I was laughing all the way, hitting him to put me back. He would lightly spank my butt every time I so much as requested he let me go.

As soon as he laid me down on the bed, I jumped out of it and out of his grasp.

"If you run I can catch you," Dylan said, a glint in his eyes as he said that. The grin on his face told me he was enjoying chasing after me as much as I was.

"Well, let's see you catch me," I said, not waiting for him and running as fast I as could, downstairs.

Dylan was faster than me- anyone would be able to see that. But instead of running after me, he slowly walked down the stairs.

I looked at him with my arms crossed, raising my eyebrow as I spoke.

"See, I'm faster than you," I told him, standing on the bottom of the staircase.

"I'll let you be faster than me for today," he said, continuing his slow walk.

I let out a frustrated grunt, seeing as he didn't look too into chasing me anymore.

Just as I turned to walk toward the kitchen, I heard shuffling behind me. I noticed as Dylan sprinted the rest of the way down, and caught me in his arms before I had a chance to run away.

"Put me down!" I said in between laughs.

"I think you should be punished for running away from me," Dylan said, carrying me with my legs wrapped around him.

I had placed my hands on his bare chest, reveling on the feeling of his touch.

"I think I deserve a break," I told him, crossing my arms on my chest.

"I don't know. To me it seemed like you were being a bad girl," Dylan said, looking thoughtful.

It was funny to see how easy he was able to maintain a serious face. I wasn't able to stop giggling.

"I love you," I told him. The playful mood faded after I said that.

He didn't say anything as he looked at me. He held me with just one arm, and with the other he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.

His strength shouldn't surprise me, considering who he was, but it did.

"Saying 'I love you' doesn't seem to be enough to explain how I feel about you," Dylan said.

His words made my heart ache, in a good way. He probably had no idea how much everything he did affected me. I was so stupid in denying this before.

Dylan was about to carry me into the living room when the doorbell rang. I looked toward the door curiously, wondering who it could be.

"I wasn't expecting anyone," Dylan told me, frowning. He set me down on the ground and walked toward the door.

I walked behind him, half expecting it to be John or Eric at the door.

When Dylan swung the door open, John and Eric stood there, but they weren't alone. Along with them was a grinning Blake accompanied by Michael and Russell.
