After saying our goodbyes, I was met with Eric staring at me- raising an eyebrow.

"What?" I asked him, when he wouldn't look away.

"The power of women is amazing," Eric commented.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him, scrunching my eyebrows.

"Actually, your power with men is amazing."

I continued staring at him, going as far as crossing my arms. I wasn't intimidating- at least not to Eric. It didn't seem like he cared much that I was his Luna.

"Blake is throwing his pack in a war to help you. That is very impressive," Eric said, grinning.

It was always the same thing with him. Apparently, only Blake and I knew that our friendship wasn't remotely close to anything romantic. Eric still made comments here and there, insinuating Blake was interested for another reason. It wasn't like that though.

Every single time I talked to Blake- he would start the conversation by telling me something that Christy had said. A few times I had even gotten a chance to talk to her myself. I usually spent the whole time laughing. Christy was full of ideas and anecdotes.

If I had remained a Rogue for longer- I wanted to be just like her.

Just like Eric had said, Dylan stormed into our room looking deadly. Either Ram or Steven had called him. Scott was used to seeing Eric and me ganging up whenever he was around.

Eric quickly got up from the bed, and stood next to me. I looked at Eric, silently laughing at him for making fun of me earlier.

"You're dismissed for now," Dylan told Eric, while he kept his eyes on me.

"For the rest of the night?" Eric asked him, keeping his eyes to the ground.

"Yes, until early in the morning tomorrow. Steven and Ram are gone. Scotty is waiting for you downstairs," Dylan replied.

"I'll see you later Leila," Eric said, waving at me.

He nodded at Dylan on the way out, before leaving the room.

"Are you mad?" I asked him, wondering if he was going to get jealous because I'd been upstairs with Eric. The last few months, he hadn't been overly possessive.

I was sure it was because I was always around Eric- who Dylan had slowly grown to trust. With Blake gone, Dylan had really calmed down a lot.

Dylan didn't say anything. He closed the distance between us, and crashed his lips to mine.

I was shocked for a few seconds by his behavior. When his fingers started digging into my waist, I found myself responding to the kiss.

His lips were forceful and rushed, more so than usual. There was no doubt the oncoming war was putting a pressure on him.

Dylan's hands easily slid under my shirt. He squeezed my waist tighter, pressing my body closer to his.

The moment he pulled away, he rested his forehead against mine. He'd been lowering his head, while I was standing on my tip toes. Dylan had been carrying most of my weight either way.

"You're mine," he growled possessively.

I didn't reply anything back. I knew he didn't need me to say anything.

"You belong to me, and I'm going to kill anyone who tries to take you away," he said, pressing his lips to mine once again.

The next morning, I woke up really tired. I felt the soreness in between my legs. I could hear the shower running, and my Wolf howled- knowing that Dylan was in there.

He had to go. Both my Wolf and I knew that. This time, I couldn't keep the temptation away. I wanted to join him.

I opened the door to the bathroom quietly. Of course with a Wolf, there was no such thing as quiet. As soon Dylan heard the door open, he pushed the clear curtain to the side.

"Can I join you?" I asked him, with a small smile on my face.

I was still nude, since I found no point in putting on clothes on, just to come to the restroom and undress.

Dylan slowly took the time to check me out, letting his eyes linger in my body.

He gave me a short nod, while his Wolf growled at me playfully.

By the time we came out of the shower, it was already 11:00 in the morning.

Eric, Scotty, Steven, and Ram had already gotten arrived. Jace and John had been calling Dylan all morning. They were supposed to meet up at 9:00. Everyone was used to how punctual Dylan was all the time- they got worried when he didn't show up to their meeting.

We had gone to sleep so late last night- it made Dylan wake up later than usual this morning. It didn't help that I distracted him by joining in on his shower, which made him waste another hour.

"I've been calling you all morning," Jace told Dylan as soon as we walked downstairs.

About fifteen guys were waiting in the living room. I'd seen some of them around, and I knew some of them by name.

"I was busy," Dylan said.

I didn't take a seat with them, because I knew I wouldn't be invited either way. I was getting the impression that Dylan wouldn't let me fight with the pack.

"I can tell," Jace said, looking between Dylan and me.

We both looked freshly showered, so I knew what they were all assuming.

Dylan looked at Jace disapprovingly after he made that comment, but he stayed quiet.

"Let's go," Dylan said.

It had just occurred to me that I'd spent all last night with Dylan, and all morning. Even with all that time, I hadn't told him about Blake.

"What about you boys meet at noon? It's already 11:00, so it's almost time for lunch," I suggested, looking around the group of guys.

When my eyes landed on Dylan, he was looking at me curiously. They were all running late either way. It was because of Dylan and me, but I didn't think an hour would make a big difference. Especially if the hour would give me enough time to explain to Dylan what I had talked about with Blake.

"Alright, we're meeting at noon in the clearing. Is the rest of the pack already there?" Dylan asked, looking around at the crowd of guys.

Most of them nodded, and it was Jace who finally confirmed they were there.

They would have another hour for lunch. Then, then they were going to start separating the area. Yesterday, Dylan had told them what they were planning on doing- especially if it was such an even fight.

He was breaking down the pack into teams of four Wolves. They would cover a certain area- to make sure there was someone from our pack everyone at all times.

At least, that was his plan before knowing Blake was going to help us.
