Today was Raghav and Pallavi's one year anniversary. She can't believe it's been a whole year already. Looking back, their marriage was just for the sake of it. But now she can't imagine her life without him.

She was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the family when she heard her husband coming down the stairs. She happily went over to him, knowing he's about to wish her. Unfortunately for her, he just kissed her on the cheek and said he's running late for a meeting and left.

Shocked would be an understatement for her. "How can he just forget what today is? Does it really not mean as much to him as it does for me?" She sighed sadly and told Amma she's going out.

On the way to the shopping mall, Pallavi convinced herself that Raghav must've been really stressed about the meeting hence, why he didn't wish her. Instantly brightening up her mood, she went inside the mall and shopped for a good hour or so buying gifts for Raghav. After she was done, she checked her phone only to see no messages nor any phone calls from her husband.

"He should be done with his meeting by now. Yet he still didn't bother wishing me. How can he just forget? Fine! If he's gonna be this way then so be it. I'm not gonna wish him either. Let him realise the mistake he's made bloody Ghamandi Rao," she huffed angrily and made her way home.

She made her way up to their bedroom and found a pink note taped to the wall.
It read: "Happy wedding anniversary my love. What? You thought I forgot? Areh Saree Ka Dukaan, I could never forget this day. After all this day means the world to me. I got my life on this day, You. Now, smile Sweetheart, you deserve the world. A woman as special as you deserves to be treated like a queen. Meet me at our special spot at 6pm and wear the dress I've placed on the bed for you. I love you and see you soon my love."

She smiled and shook her head; "Pallavi you've lost it, doubting your husband of course he wouldn't forget, I knew it. My sweet Rao."

She went and got ready as it was already 5:15pm. She picked up the dress and wore it. She was impressed  "who knew my husband's choice would be this good." It was a long red silk dress. Backless with a slit exposing her smooth long leg. It was as if the dress was made specifically for her. It hugged her curves perfectly. She paired the dress with black stilettos and started doing her hair and makeup. Her hair was let down but was curled and her makeup wasn't too extra but she looked like an absolute goddess. Happy with the way she looks, she quickly wrapped up Raghav's gift and left to the destination.

She pulled into the grass by their special place and followed the trail that had a few red roses laid along the edges. She stopped when she saw Raghav standing in front of her, facing the ocean. She set her gift on the table and walked up to him, wrapping her arms around him and laid her head on his back.
"Sweetheart." He whispered quietly.
"Happy anniversary, my love." She whispered back.

He turned around and kissed her softly, snaking his hands around her waist. He took a moment to look at her properly and was mesmerised. "You look absolutely gorgeous baby girl." He said, looking at her Lovingly.
"You don't look too bad yourself darling," she stated kissing him on the cheek.

She was right, Raghav didn't look bad himself. He was wearing an all black fit. Simple but so hot. A few buttons of his shirt were left open exposing his chiseled chest. His hair was styled to perfection and the way his muscles would flex every time he moved his arms was a sight indeed. Raghav looked like a Greek god and Pallavi wasn't ashamed in checking her husband out. The things she'd want him to do to her was flashing through her mind. It wasn't until he spoke again that she came back to reality.

"I have a surprise for you" he said as he softly intertwined his fingers with hers  and led her into a small dark shack. Candles were lit and were all lined up across the table with plates of their favourite food. They had the perfect view of the ocean. She gasped and said, "This is so cute Raghav!" She wrapped her arms around his side and placed her head on his chest.
"I'm glad you like it sweetheart, come sit down with me." They both sat down and enjoyed their meal. Both of them laughed with each other reminiscing about the memories they've made with each other. Raghav told her that he has a present for her when he went to go fetch his, she also placed her gift on the table. He came back with two gifts. He insisted that she should open her's first, so she did.
Confused when she opened the gift as there was only a letter in there.

It read; "look at me."
She looked up to her husband and saw  him holding a small leather box in his hands. Her heart began to race and she gulped nervously. Smiling, he opened the box revealing a Dimond ring. She gasped, "Raghav, you didn't have too, how much did this cost?"
"Anything for you my love," he said sweetly.

He shifted and bent down on one knee.
"Today, one year ago, we got married. Our wedding was complicated, I married you for my benefit not caring about your feelings at all. We were enemies but from the first day I saw you, I was drawn to you. I never understood back then why I was drawn to you. But as our marriage progressed I came to realise why. Pallavi, there is something about you that makes my heart flip every time I see you. I love the way your eyes sparkle when you're excited about something. I love the way you care so much about others, you always put their needs before yours. You don't even realise how beautiful you are. Hearing your laughter just brightens up my day. I never thought that Raghav Rao would know what being in love feels like. But then you came in my life. I fall in love with you more and more every single day. You understand me more than I understand myself Pallavi . This Ghamandi Rao would be nothing without his Saree Ka Dukaan. Today I want to show you just how much I love and need you in my life."

Pallavi's eyes began to tear up. He also began to tear up as he took a deep breath.

"Pallavi Raghav Rao will you marry me again, but properly this time?"

The box was shaking in his hands and the tears poured down her face at this point.

"Oh my goodness, Y-yes!!! Of course I'll marry you Raghav!"

She wrapped her arms around him and smiled when she felt his tears drop onto her back.
"I love you so, so much Pallavi. I'm not sure if you understand just how much."

She managed to giggle through her tears without choking up at his cuteness. She pulled back still caressing his hair softly and looked into his eyes and said; "I know how much I mean to you, I know how much you love me because you mean to me and I love you the same amount you do to me, and that's a whole damn lot."

He chuckled and kissed her slowly and softly. It was the sweetest and most loving kiss they've shared.
They pulled back and Pallavi decided to give him his gift.
"Now I know this won't top your gift, but I hope you like it Raghav."

He opened a gift and saw a watch. It was a watch that he had wanted for so long. He loved it but when he looked closer it made him love it even more. The watch was engraved, it read; R&P always and forever with the date of their wedding.
He gasped, "how did you know I wanted this? I love it sweetheart, this is the most special gift anyone has ever given me. Thank you so much my love."

"I'm Pallavi Raghav Rao after all. I know everything she winked. I'm glad you liked. Thank you for making this night so memorable Raghav. I'm so grateful for you. I love you, Ghamandi Rao."

"I love you too, Saree Ka Dukaan."

It was the most perfect evening. Nothing could top this for them.
They pulled in for a kiss and rested their foreheads against each other's as they both whispered "always and forever."
