I am currently sitting in the most awkward car ride ever, due to my absurd actions and let us not forget Mr Rao's too.
I fall back into the window shyly, whilst I covered my face smoothly. I could feel his glare on me and I looked away.
" Stop being so gullible with others. It does not suit you." He said harshly causing me to squint my eyes in confusion.
gullible me? pffft
" Would care to explain how I am gullible sir?" I muttered which made him let out a throaty chuckle.
" hmm well, for example... with my brother." I heard him say as his voice got lower.
" Pffft, Sir, that is not being gullible, that is called being friendly. Something you don't know how to do." I corrected him which made him glare at me.
" This is why I hate women." He shook his head.
" This is why I hate men." I said face palming myself, exhausted.
" Oh please. I have no need to explain myself to you anymore." He said clicking his tongue Causing me to cross my arms.
" Oh really? Because that is exactly what you just did." I replied back sassily which again made him glare at me.
" Go ahead, keep it up, come on." He warned me and I immediately shut my mouth quickly.
don't say anything that will put your work in jeopardy
" Sorry" I muttered to him, biting my lip anxiously.
I heard his breath hitch, his eyes fell on my lips and he quickly turned away.
did this man just get turned on from a lip bite?
" Let's go" He said and got out the car as it came to a stop. I soon followed along and walked behind me.
" Speed up, stop walking so far behind or those clingy women will harass us."
" Sorry." I apologised for like the 12th time today.
why the hell do I keep apologising
we got into the elevator and watched as the clingy Raghav Rao obsessed women were left behind as the elevator doors closed shut. Raghav turned his whole body towards me, facing me directly.
" You will not survive here if you continue to apologise. You will end up hurting yourself and others if you just foolishly endure it." He spat out truthfully, and I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out causing me to nod.
" Okay..." I muttered nervously as I felt a gap close between us.
Thank god the elevator doors opened within the next second because his instance gaze and his proximity was doing a lot of things to me.
Once we walked out, we arrived to his office where I noticed a fairly tall man standing outside his door.
" What the hell are you doing here. How did you get up here Armaan?" I looked up at Mr Rao who stood there clearly annoyed.
" I walked here obviously brother." The man said in a duh tone causing Raghav to scoff.
Raghav pulled me behind him and glared at his brother.
" What do you need?" He demanded in quite a grumpy tone.
" I want those files." Armaan, his brother said.
" And why exactly do you want those files, what is the reason?" Mr Rao asked again.
" Damn it Raghav, just let me see them and I will give them back in the morning." The man said annoyed and Raghav rolled his eyes pulling me into his office.
