Pallavi's pov

"Pallavi beta would you stop pacing around the room and eat something please. I'm sure Raghav is fine." Amma said.

"I can't thing about eating something right now Amma, Raghav said he'll be landing by 5:30pm and it's 9pm right now. I've called him multiple times and he has picked up my calls nor has he dismissed them heck he has not even texted me anything!" I said a bit loudly in fear as my nerves started to kick in making me bite my nails anxiously.

"Pallavi, calm down he must have gotten caught up in work." Amma said softly and I shook my head.

"He never forgets to inform me about even the slightest things Amma..." I said plopping down on the couch trying to figure out the weird feeling in my stomach.

Oh god Raghav please be okay

Raghav had flown out to New York two days ago for some special diamonds that he needed for his upcoming project and was supposed to return today but he still hasn't.

Something is definitely wrong and I know its not work

My phone rang and it was another call from Aai. She along with Kaka, Nikhil, Amruta have been blowing up my phone ever since I told them Raghav hasn't returned.

"is he home?" she asked

"no.. not yet, I'll let you know when he does come." I said

"how are you feeling?" she asked

" I don't know. I feel numb, I'm getting more and more worried as the time passes."I said.

Aai said a few more things but I was not in the right state of mind to listen. She understood and hung up.

As soon as the call ended Farhad rang and I immediately picked up.

"Farhad, he still hasn't-

"Bhabi, listen to me and don't freak out. Anna is safe but his plane got into turbulence and crashed in the middle of a forest. The pilot lost control when they were just about to land so luckily there was no major damage. they are out of network but Raghav's bodyguard managed to inform me. I'm on my way there, don't freak out okay?" Farhad said but that was too late.

My palms had already started to sweat and my heard felt like it could leap out of my chest any minute by the way it so loudly.

"P-plane c-crashed?" I breathed out.

"He is safe Bhabi, he is fine don't worry." he said.

" how can I not worry!!! how do I know Raghav is fine???" I yelled and felt the tears escape my eyes.

"its okay... ill be there soon" he said and hung up.

I placed my hand on my mouth to minimise my sobs as my shoulders shook.

"what happened ?" Amma asked

"hi-his plane crashed. But he's safe because the pilot managed to avoid severe damage but.... I don't know how he-

I was cut off by my own sob and Amma pulled me into a hug.

"shhh, he'll be fine Pallavi, Raghav's a strong man." she said trying to calm me down as she rubbed my back.

The door bell rang and I sprinted to the door, I opened it to see Farhad and Amruta.

She came up to me and instantly hugged me.

"Pallavi he is fine." she said

"I want to talk to Raghav please.'' I said looking at Farhad.

"Bhabi we can't, they are out of range and Anna lost his phone. but don't worry they're on their way here soon." He said as I shook my head.
